Sorry this is the truth . Muslims are educationally weak and dont show signs of improvement. Muslims have low literacy rate in many countries , this is a fact. true few countries are better but look at the rest. Indian literacy rate after partition was less than 12% now its more than 75%. You need to change according to the scenario. You can hold on to the old stone age religion and expect to be better than other community. A Community advances when its women are given more benefits than men in education. I come from state in India (kerala) with more than 94% literacy rate (2011 census).

Generally middle class people in India prefer to have 2-3 children's where as Muslims prefer to have more than 5-6 children even though they cannot afford to I don't know why and they suffer due to that. then they prefer to send their childrens to do petty jobs rather than to school as they start earning at the early age which either turn them into child labour or criminals.

Problem is with the attitude of Muslims and not with the government policies.

the neglects of Muslim in India about education maybe can came from two things, first lacks of comprehensive education and knowledge among them about the important of regular education for their Childrens and future, and two about institutional neglects.

but as a whole Indian ranks in Human Developing Index is so awful, far below most Muslim Countries in known world, being neighbor with Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan made Indian member here thinking poorly about their Muslim neighbor. the only Muslim countries whose ranks behind India in HDI is Syria, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Cameroon, Afghanistan, Yemen, Nigeria, Senegal, Sudan, South Sudan, Somalia, and Erithrea. But hell, most of them is lies in South Asia and Africa, the land of forgotten.

Pakistan is maybe degrading in some sector, but not with the whole of Muslim world.

This is clearly a cultural trait. Look at education of Hindus/Sikhs in UK and Muslims in UK - both communities migrated in the 1950s and 1960s and were economically and educationally at similar levels and look at their difference now. You certainly can't say that the British state gave preference to Hindus over Muslims in UK.

Not necessarily. Turkey, Jordan, Iran all have literacy rates in the 90+ % group. There is of course a direct correlation between poverty and low literacy rates, and given that Indian Muslims fall in the lowest socio-economic group in the country (Sachar committee), its no surprise that literacy rates within this community are really low.

Again after partition we had millions of poor and uneducated we are improving. Our literacy rate was 12% after independence now its more than 75%+. All other religious community have shown improvement but its only Muslims in India that are stagnant.
