Shia Muslims choose to support #BJP. They thought that they were killed politically by #INC. #INC always projected #BJP as threats for Muslims in India. Muslims were used as a political goat to purchase votes. For #INC Muslims were nothing more than a vote bank. After 2002 Gujarat riots the threats of communal disharmony forced Muslims to seek Asylum under the shades of Secular #INC. And has done nothing much to change the life of Muslims. Even in the entire rule of Congress Shia Muslims were sided by congress. They(Shia Muslims) are a minority among Muslims hardly 2to 3% Muslims in India are Shia Muslims. Their demands were ignored many times.
When in 2014 election #BJP came into power. Shia Muslims in #UP openly supported them. And BJP has provided a satisfactory reply by inducting a lone minister from minority Shia Muslims. There is a leadership crisis in the Shia community that can be resolved only with the BJP in power. If the Shia leadership has to be honed, then it will be because of the BJP government in power. The leadership issue cannot be solved by any other party and that is because the intellectual and leadership space of Muslims in other parties are occupied by Ahle-Sunnat. They are well entrenched in the system that Shias don’t stand a chance to lead. Some Shias trying to come out of political oblivion have also found a challenge in the lack of unity within the community on some issues, for instance, the Ram Mandir.

Cannot disagree with the reasons listed in the video. There are a myriad of reasons, however, most prominent is "power/fame" and "money". Having said that, these constitute a minuscule minority among the Muslims of India and should not be held up as evidence of a massive change of heart.

The Bohris are perhaps the only segment of the Muslims that have put all their eggs in the BJP bucket. A business community that is largely in Gujarat, their leadership made a strategic decision to align with the BJP for their survival. A lot should not be read into this. It is a tactic for survival, rather than a genuine alignment of political ideologies.

I've known many bohris/bohras, they're all businessmen small time mostly, they'll do anything to increase profits including but not limited to supporting Modi.

Besides, even among Indian Shias, bohri constitute a very minuscule section, they're for the most part insignificant politically and marry among themselves.

I went to school with a few, the girls either had marriages fixed before class 12th or in most other cases got married before they reached 20.

Yes that is true, they usually study something like business administration or accounting
