Richard Dawkins being described as a christian..... I'm sure the church would be thrilled to know that.
Btw, I recommended that book in the context of what @levina & I were discussing. Does not suggest that it is the only book I have ever read. (btw, did I not beat you up on the Vishwamitra's grand nephew bit..... Where you not searching for "Rama"....wondering whether I was talking about your nephew....)
As for moral compass & its mooring; I will find my own, thank you very much.
Richard Dawkins was born into a Christian family, grew up in a christian household and has described himself his childhood as "a normal Anglican upbringing". He was a Christian until halfway through his formative teenage years.
His rejection is "religion" is just his rejection of "Christianity" ....... and finding the next most acceptable and widely available choice.
You can worry or get excited about the Church and what they feel about Richard Dawkins. Spare me the drama.
I have beaten your fair and square EVERY TIME we ever had a debate. .......... Are you under the illusion that you beat me ? EVER ? (I was mocking your reference to Rama by talking about my nephew, funny how you did not get that)
As for your moral mooring, you have no choice but to find your own. Did you think there was any other choice ?
