So two major benefits to befriending Israel 1) the western zionist run Media will stop being hostile to Pakistan 2) Pakistan could see more investments from the US in private sector. 3) If Pakistan could somehow convince Israel to stop selling weapons to India, that would be another remarkable advantage, but i don't see it happening cuz zionists are entrenched in the veins of Indian economy as India got closer to Israel, firms from the US invested billions you see from call centre to programming jobs etc all went to India.

The first two are the two biggest advantages. However 3rd one i dont think it is strategically possible given our geopolitical scenario. Israel won't cut off ties with India, also it might demand that we must cut off ties with Iran, but Pakistan is bound to go with Iran due to growing energy demands.

Due to our Politicians, and Nawaz Sahrif who blasted Atomic bomb from the pressure of Pak generals, Ironically At the time he Called this as Islamic bomb, not called this Pakistani Bomb. In Pakistan, Religion comes First. Pakistan comes Second. Muslim countries interest are given priority than Pakistani Interest. Pakistan is scapegoat for the Islamic countries.

Well establishing relations with Israel is not a shocker because under Mush, his FM did visit the Israeli FM and Musharraf himself had discussions with Barak.
