Mullah Omar lived short walk from US Base

Education mafia def needs attention....
Health is being dealt with ...slowly but something is being done..

And once the results start being visible, Pakistan will rise, no doubt.

.
We cannot verify yet the media can WITH PICTURES? :pop:

Its really interesting...You see OBL can die 2-3 times [once even thrown at see and he still manages to appear in Pakistan] ...You should question the Americans and the boogeymen they make! You should also consult with indian media...They give him alot of air time!

What pictures ??

You are comparing Mullah Omar (a guy for whom you cannot produce photos or any evidence he was head of the Taliban) with Osama Bin Laden. In any case Mullah Omar is a Pusthun living in Pusthun neighborhood. Compare that with an 6-5 Arab dude living in Pakistan with three wives and humpteen kids within a mile of military academy.

OBL is dead. He is not on the FBI most wanted list. He was killed in Abbotabad in 2011. If he was "dead" before 2011 the CIA did not believe it

1) At 1st you were denying abt knowing Mullah Omar's face or anything....
2) You think people of SOME Pakistan look different than bearded Arabs? - So you are as indian as they come? :pop:
3) Pushtun or not, the fact remains that American intelligence is questionable or were they harboring him for some benefits? - Valid questions since these same intelligence claim they knew OBL's hideout since 2008 but only killed him in 2011....So, god only knows how long they "harbored" Mullah Omar...After all, they have been in Afghanistan for more than a decade....
4) CIA does alot of things they dont announce ...Not sure why you would believe much of what they claim?

there is little evidence that the person that showed up as Mullah Omar on google image search is the real Mullah Omar

Yea just like how OBL also showed up with different coloured beards at different "instances" in times....wardrobe malfunction maybe?

.
US needs a bogeyman to keep the MIC churning. Right after tensions are dying down in the ME thanks to Russia, they're whipping up tension in Venezuela to install a puppet and suck that country dry.

this is what i call completely irrelevant

At the end OBL was tracked down in a comfortable compound in a big city in pakistan. the real question is whether the pakistani military/intelligence establishment are incompetent or complicit

large portions of the afghan security establishment are incompetent (to be charitable not very competent)

.
this is what i call completely irrelevant
It is as relevant as the world bought it!

big city in pakistan.

the real question is whether the pakistani military/intelligence establishment are incompetent or complicit
And if that is your question, why dont you have the balls to question America?
Afterall this was a busy base ...with Americans in Afghanistan for almost 2 decades now...It is very similar if you cant find the similarity than ...god bless you child!
large portions of the afghan security establishment are incompetent (to be charitable not very competent)
Yea, Americans were too busy in the poppy fields, killing innocents calling it a game and whatever other misadventures, that all was left on Afghanistan security! :agree:

2) You are the one who started the non-existent creature debate...yet you have a name?
3) Which journalist is neutral for you?

Taliban founder lived near US military base in Afghanistan: report
Mullah Omar lived near a strategic US base in Afghanistan's Zabul province, according to a Dutch journalist's controversial book. The Taliban leader's bodyguard said "they felt relatively safe" despite the US presence.

Taliban founder Mullah Omar lived next to a US base in the Afghan province of Zabul for years, Dutch journalist Bette Dam claims in her new Dutch-language book "Searching for the Enemy."

"The US, and almost everyone else, had it wrong," Dam, who spent eight years researching the Taliban leader, wrote in an English-language excerpt. "After 2001, Mullah Omar never stepped foot in Pakistan, instead opting to hide in this native land — and for eight years, lived just a few miles from a major US Forward Operating Base that housed thousands of soldiers."

Dam said the finding was corroborated by Taliban and Afghan officials, including Mullah Omar's personal bodyguard. She described it as a "staggering US intelligence failure."

"Though Mullah Omar did not venture outside for fear of being caught, according to (bodyguard) Jabbar Omari, in the four years they hid in that home they felt relatively safe," added Dam.

'Delusional claim'

The revelation counters the narrative put forward by Afghan and US officials, that Mullah Omar lived in exile in Pakistan, where he eventually died.

"We strongly reject this delusional claim and we see it is as an effort to create and build an identity for the Taliban and their foreign backers," said Afghan presidency spokesman Haroon Chakhansuri. "We have sufficient evidence which shows he lived and died in Pakistan."

David Petraeus, a former CIA director and US military commander in Afghanistan, cast doubt on the claim, telling the Wall Street Journal newspaper: "I would be very surprised if Mullah Omar would have taken the risk that we could come calling some evening." According to Dam, US troops nearly discovered him twice.
