MQM celebrates Jashn-e-Azadi with midnight grand fireworks - thenews.com.pk
KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Tuesday midnight began celebrating the Independence Day by the display of a splendid firework at the Jinnah Ground adjacent to 90 in Azizabad here, Geo News reported.
MQM leaders, members of national and provincial assemblies and a large number of the party activists, who had gathered from different areas of the city in rallies, were also present at the Jashn-e-Azadi ceremony that began on Tuesday midnight at 12.00 with a grand firework that lighted the entire area over there.
The leaders and the workers sang in chorus and danced on the tunes of national songs rejoicing over the independence of the country, which they have always defended by offering invaluable sacrifices and valued most.
MQM leaders on this occasion said that August 14 was the day to express national solidarity and harmony and added the challenges facing the country demand that all of us must unite and get on the same page in our drive against counter terrorism and extremism.
MQM leaders and workers winded up the ceremony reciting in chorus the national anthem and praying for the peace and progress of the country.

there is no doubt there are rogue elements in MQM who are responsible for extortion but to say that they do it because its MQM's policy is wrong
on the other hand, rangers have done absolutely nothing to curb bhatta khori in the key areas of karachi like lyari, shershah, saddar(which shows their biasness) which are economic blocks of karachi but rangers will always be biased and partial, they will apprehend any MQM guy who may be responsible for even a little crime, when dealing with the problem
they have raided and killed innocent MQM workers
they havent mentioned how many ANP, aman committee and which people belonging to them have been arrested
