We have to accept the fact that majority of mohajirs support MQM. When you criticize MQM , any urduspeaker around you will feel being targeted and insulted. It is a complex situation, any action against MQM would provoke mohajir community and more buses would be burned. So mandate of MQM in Karachi should be accepted and respected even if they do heavy rigging.
All the ongoing targeted operations by police and rangers in karachi are in pashtun dominated areas and layari, MQM is spared. Either MQM is completely innocent or they are provided immunity . The fact is urduspeakers in every department even if they are in ISI or army, give heavy support to MQM. If any mohajir dont cooperate , then he is intimidated and threatened. In a third world country like Pakistan "jis ki laatti uski bains" formula is working wonderfully in case of karachi. MQM uses laatti on their own community to keep them in line and still altaf bhai and his goons are most popular and loved ones among them. MQM is pride of their community. We have to accept this harsh reality.
