It wasn't overlooked it actually failed the test. The engines weren't able to perform. Secondly everyone in IAF and MOD thought the whole fleet shouldn't be based on Russian fighters as strategically it might effect the operational capability of IAF and thats why even if Mig35 would have passed the test there's no way it was going to win. The thing is Russians always had some idea about this.
But you are right about Super Sukhoi and FGFA. Not to mention Su35 is still on of the best aircrafts in the world.

WHILE IT IS WELL KNOWN THAT 16 ASW contract is expected to be signed by mid 2012 , with American SeaHawk/SeaKinght as the likely winner

Also u guys need to understand that IAC1 ie INS Vikrant can only carry upto 29 Mig29K/KuB
while Vikramaditya can only carry upto 24 Mig29K/KuB
Additional 29 Mig29K/Kub were ordered as a hedge against delay in Tejas N , and the navy was right since Tejas N is delayed to 2017 , while IAC1 will enter service in 2014-15

During Normal circumstances Vikrant will carry about 20 Mig29K/KuBs , while Vikramaditya will carry 16 Mig29K/KuBs

The NMRCA deal is for IAC2 which will be a 50000-65000 Ton Catobar carrier
Since this carrier has been delayed to 2022 , due to funding priorities for Indian Navy , it is unlikely that IN will sign the deal before 2017 , so that aircrafts can begin arriving in 2020
The competition for this deal will be between mmrca winner and F35B/C FOR 40-50 Aircrafts
I expect Rafale to win mmrca while NMRCA to go to F35B/C Depending upon the specification of IAC2

9000Kg, but keep in mind tha the 90kN is AB thrust, while the dry thrust which fighters normally use seems to be low and that could be the issue.

make design for Fgfa and AMCA as vertical launch planes for it.or Just go for f-35.

We need to use Shaurya missile for advance antiship role. with 200Kg warhead and can destroy ship at range of 1900 km.

There may also B-2 like design plane be use to destroy Aircraft Carrier of ships of enemy use shaurya to distroy ships at longer range.

That will be a big aircraft for our A/Cs even Russian Navy is considering using Mig-29s in their carrier. F-35 will be very good, however, I will say Navy should go for IAF MRCA winner, that will make the logisyics and training a lot easier. They are also potent fighters.

and Shaurya will need some changes to go for a anti ship role. but it can be done.
