Looks like the "seculars" are doing it the pakistani rangers way ........ they think bombing works to weaken resolve

Who did you think gave me all my negatives. It was Bengali Pakistanis. LOL.

They started on this thread warning about how nationalists care only for Hinduism and not about nationalism.

On that other thread about Indian scientists achievement, they were claiming nationalism and patriotism is all bakwaas. Money is the only nationalism. They were spitting on India.

Now all of a sudden they are claiming to be patriot.

These are the most opportunistic bunch one can find.

Liberal principals have been introduced in civil code of all religions ,except Islam, overtime. If we bring UCC, it would be a radical departure from current codes only for Muslims.

Don't generalize on basis of ethnicity. It would weaken your point and would only lead to an internecine conflict.

Hindus accepted a law which made it illegal. There still are some Hindu Personal Laws but not very significant. Yes, UCC will bring radical changes for Muslims but this should have happened a long, long time before.

There are many who put fear in the minds of minorities that secularism is at stake in India but do not lend their voice to actual secularism, this I believe has alienated a lot of people in accepting that the scenario in India will ever change.

When 9/10 Bengalis you meet espouse the same sickularism, then you must recourse to generalism. There is no way I can go and check the whole 80-90 million Bengalis for their views personally. Sure case by case exceptions can be made as one comes across as different. There are quite a few Bengalis witting for IndiaFacts, a nationalist website. There is Tapan Ghosh, etc. But then those people will be considered as abomination by our resident Bengalis here.
