It was a good decision because all states were wanted sometimes time to prepare.... If the situation was worst like 2nd wave then it could be a disaster...

Finally people here understood that despite locking people inside home for 6 months, only 7% GDP fall is an indication to what India is..
It also displayed that 135 crore people can be made to do things with very mild govt machinery. India is one country. Demobstrated.
Anti CAA protest, which was raging ...put back without any force by MODI. This is awesome.
Middle Man ( Farmers) protest...well they want to protest till 2024...let them do. India is a democracy. No effect on economy or farmers produce.
Do not worry too much about Indian economy. We are a baniya nation. Modi is also a baniya.

because the virus hit, but true, center didn't interfere at all with the liberandus' and islamists' right to protest.
few small incidents when the protests got violent but overall it was an ongoing thing with full police protection and also political patronage from opposition parties.
Yogi Ji went hog wild on them in UP though. Many are still languishing in jail, their properties having been confiscated.. most will perish in jail without ever eating a biriyani or kebab again.

So, Mr. Modi seem to turned up to the sort of a shameless chancer who will demand from you to admire his "flowing ropes" that no amount of money can buy it. Even if he is butt-naked for all to see at that precise moment.
Poor India.
For some reason, it seems that, India, is always a nation who is happiest when she is on the look out for a "cheap western's flattery" of how a "goody-two-shoes-democratic-damsel" she is in comparison to the likes of beastly China (according to the western's world). Even if her teeming citizens are dying and dropping off, like flies, from a cause that is easily preventable social destitution. Or from a poorly managed medical situation, like this raging pandemic.
But, still, this fellow, this Mr. Modi, seem to be a distinct class of his own.
And by that I mean ever since a two consecutive Americans's president (in the form of Mr. Obama and then Mr. Trump) had "whispered" to him and to his ears that he is a "big strategical honcho" of a chap, who is running the political show of the next superpower from Asia, he had developed a clinical and an accute form of "grandeur of delusions". Particularly about his place in history. And more generally about how glorious it will be the "rendezvous" in which his nation will have with it's destiny. Even if in the meantime the poor teeming India could do with lot less of that sort of tragic hallucinations and more of a grounded political's appraisal of their true socioeconomic condition in this pandemic time.
However, Mr. Modi (say what you will about him) is nevertheless the chief peddler and the end- consumer of his "own home-brewed political's fiction", who ostentatiously make use of his yoga mat in public square, and a chap who always talks about how large bodily-chest he has. Furthermore he doesn't do any of the ordinary governance stuff (like most normal politician the world over) for a poor nation like India.
But rather he listen to the "voices" in his own head, along with the "teeming sychophants" who surrounds him, who in turn tells him that he is the best that had happened to "Mother India", ever since an "earthly cow" and it's copious urine was discovered in the land of the subcontinent all those millennia of years ago.
So nobody should expect anything else from him other than political fiction, meretricious spin, and the demand from others to flatter him in terms of how had made India all powerful state under his watch, and did so in a jiffy.
