The LCA as whole, with the information we have so far and the videos we have seen, is definitely a horribly designed, poorly executed system. However, its individual components are not that bad. Its radar, fly by wire system, engine, composite material, etc are sourced from excellent companies around the world. Just by these individual components alone makes the LCA a better aircraft than the MIG-21, the aircraft it is meant to replace. However, if you consider value/price ratio and with the LCA's 30 million + price tag, the MIG-21 will be better.
