What's new

Military abducted me , COAS is afraid that I will de-notify him after winning election : Imran khan

That's the problem.

In KPK, Khan's popularity is more than 80%. And more than 80% households have guns.

If ever it came to that, everyone will regret. Maulana Fazlur Rahman will forever be kicked out of his own province as others.
You are too kind. We all know what will happen to that fat piggy

Why Kick FM out ? there are better solutions then that. Hand him over to some warlord and let them turn him into their little kite runner day and night.

The pubjab police is the civilian armed wing of GHQ, and PDM their spawn. The army is already rotten. beyond saving, it needs a complete overhaul...
If you read or listen to the complete story of Bajwa selection. "You will be shocked," his father in law knows he doesn't qualify but he used his personal connection to bring to this post. It is fact Armed forces strictly need to go back to their strict criteria for promotions.

Read the Bajwa selection and Bari Imam oath in the presence of Ishaq Dar.

Beyond saving and "complete overhaul" are oxymoronic :-) ...everything is salvageable. The foundations (rank and file) of the army are solid, with good people. The leadership has been politicized and corrupted. I felt, as many here did as well, that post Bajwa, the incumbent would take a different direction as all new chiefs do but he did not. This in itself has been unprecedented because every single CoAS, even including Bajwa, have made their own mark by setting the direction. This current chap seems to have no gumption to change anything and continues to double-down on the follies of his predecessor.

I am still not sure what drives him and I don't agree on the angle of "he does it out of greed of plots, money" etc. This cannot be the driver. There is either a situation where he is personally compromised (as many are suggesting) or the qibla has been reoriented back towards the US for some regional re-alignment. Otherwise, nobody can take this much abuse, pressure and continue down the same path. Someone mentioned to me that Bajwa was so heartbroken in his final months in the office due to public backlash that he was on antidepressants. The incumbent has already received 10x more abuse in the first 6 months of the job than Bajwa got in all of his 6 years.

Whatever the motivation is, unfortunately it has been an utter and complete disaster for Pakistan, the army and our body politic.

Yes, but more importantly perhaps they should also follow the constitution written in plain simple english, where they should not go beyond their constitutional duties, at this point I don't care if a street dog became the new COAS, a dog would be content with just 2-3 meals a day, and not feel as adventurous to burn the frickin country to the ground for the nth time. How many generals have screwed us in the past that met the so called 'criteria' ?

He has steel balls
Only because he has most of Pakistan behind him.

I hope someone advises IK to personally write and sign letters of condolence to each and every one of the 40 that fell in the protests for freedom, then have them hand delivered by members of the PTI. Let the people know their sacrifice as individuals is seen and honored.
40 corrupts should be hung in revenge.

That era is over ...........Even in 1950s .... Chairman Mao said ............ with the weapon you can fight the war but you can't win the war.

A living example of next door Afghanistan .. all peace was done in Doha talks.
But before that Taliban brought the occupation forces (PA) and their local collaborators (PDM) to their knees on the battle field.

Applies only to advanced cultures, not primitive ones. The taliban have always been an armed group. We have always been at the mercy of those with guns, from the Mogols, to the British and now. Democracy will never succeed here. Sad to say.

Past precedent shows he will do even better and invite them to zaman park and meet them personally. Even though the pain of losing somebody is not easily subsided maybe the gesture can help alleviate some of the pain.

The only way out of this mess is to give equal power, i.e. guns and ammunition to the Supreme court, the PM's office and all other civilian idara, that will protect each from being abused by the other institutons, in effect declaring a cold war, allowing the govt to function. Imagine the Chief justive commanding a group of 100k men armed and ready to protect the court. no CAOS would dare challenge the supreme court.

Modi needs IK like balls of steel , laken woh kameena bhag jata ha jesy 27 feb no bhaga tha
Yaaar, woh bhaga tou nhi tha, woh tou badalo k peechy chup gya tha

Whatever the motivation is
His motivation is Mariyum Nawaz. The powerful men often like to submit to a woman as part of some weird fetish to relinquish control to just one person also referred to as a mistress. We all know about Akleem Akhtar also known as General Rani. She was considered the most powerful woman during his tenure.
