It's amazing how desperate the Africans are to get to Europe despite all the shyt they are subjected to - the sea, the violence, the politics, the racism. Things must be real bad in sub-Saharan Africa.
We did rise from 18 to 40% by letting them drown and push them back into the sea.
There is one constant in my political views. I greatly enjoy migrants suffering.
Depends, we have an old house and inside its quite cool. But outside its very bad. Almost 40 C. We had some rain though.
Roman emperors were the best.
Yu know Tiberius? Propably the most evil and intelligent emperor ever. George Lucas used him as example for the emperor in Star Wars.
Tiberius became very very old. He ruled from the small island of Capri and when he knew he would die soon, he wanted his nephew to become his sucessor. But he also knew that another one (Caligula) will propably kill his nephew.
He invited both to his death bed in Capri and then send his nephew out t be alone with Caligula.
And you know what he said to Caligula?
"You will kill my nephew. And someone else will kill you". He laughed and died.
Days later Caligula indeed kileld his nephew and became emperor. But went crazy from psychosos becuse of fear. What Tiberus said to him, made him crazy and shortly after he was killed indeed.
Caligula -'' Let them hate us as long as they fear us''. Sounds like your motto vs african immigrant wave.
isn't tiberius a river ?
The rivers name is Tiber.
Tiberius was an roman emperor.
isn't that from the christian bible ?
partly. Jesus lived when Emperor Augustus and Tiberius ruled. They were the first two emperors after the Roman Republic was morphed into the Roman Empire.
Cicero tried so hard to keep the Republic. But, I guess his commonwealth was only suitable for a city-state and Rome had already outgrew it, hence his ideas were impractical.
Yet, he made a good fight. Perhaps because he was a Senator, too, LOL.
I think that the republic was great but impractical when Rome reached a certain size. The later system, empore + senate was more effective.
Welcome back Markus.
I got to visit your beautiful country for 12 days in June. I had a wonderful time.
The only downside I really had was the migrant beggars following you down streets to sell their junk.
