But as a product of Virginia/USA education, I well know that the n-word is extremely verboten and use of it brings condemnation not only upon the head of the person who utters it but also upon any forum that (i.e. the PDF) that tolerates its use. So, for the good of PDF, we shouldn't be THAT politically incorrect.

I suppose your right. I know desite many things Yanks and British are 'peas in the pod'. My family was on holiday in Italy and before that Japan. Tokyo has lots of Americans and there was remarkable connect with Yanks because of language and clear respect shown by Americans towards Britain. So everything is cool.
