Manila spent $30 million on lawyers; there is voice now to get it reimbursed from CIA

money is good invested. my respect goes to the people of philippines.
You again jump out to show your stupidity, right? According to this arbitration, SCS belongs to nobody, and all the islands you oppupied is void also. In another word, it is an international water in which US and japan have the same rights as you.

That is why your new PM told China' Li keqiang that he respected China's position on this arbitration and be willing to negotiate with China in their meeting yesteday.

whatever the outcome, my respect goes to the people who stand up against a superior enemy, fighting for a good thing. reminding me of the last stand of the 200 spartans. but that is something you will never understand.

So your into that gay thing with men wearing nothing but leather underwear?

1) there were 300 Spartans, not 200
2) There were several thousand Greeks at Thermopalae, not just the Spartans.
3) The passage was narrow and easy defence
4) The Greeks fcuked it up and the battle was LOST.
5) Because of the Fcuk up at Thermopalae, Athens was again sacked.

I dont understand why people celebrate such a strategic loss.

Also, 300 Chinese PLA could probably fight off the entire Phillipine army in the SCS. Definitely not the other way round.

Please have respect to the Spartans, who stood up fighting to the last man. 300 as you correctly said it. Wearing leather underwear was a common practice back in those days. Nothing with gay.

The point is the Philippines should exploite the momentum by bringing China to the international court of justice. You must pay for compensation. For the damage of coral reefs, job loses to Philippine fishermen. The money will be good spent. Even if another $30 millions.

Haven't you noticed that the Viets here love the David and the Goliath comparison bedtime story? That Vietcong sometimes shows fear and sometimes entertain us with his tough talks of how they will defeat the PLA. The dude contradicts himself all the time. Check this thread and you can see him pissing in his pants (all getting worked up) https://defence.pk/threads/china-shot-jl-2-from-the-south-china-sea.427631/page-2

This is so insane and retard, Pinoys spend $30 millions for American lawyers...they got ripped big time, it's good that China didn't spend a dime and still win regardless of the toilette paper verdict. No wonder new Pinoy president is so anti-US.

money is good invested. my respect goes to the people of philippines.

How about Vietnam to be next, hire Chinese lawyer for SCS issue, we will charge you guys 1$ less than American, 30 millions -1$ :D, and you will get respect from Pinoys :P

.
International verdict? A kangaroo court headed by a few old white "arbitrators" appointed by countries with known hostile attitude towards China judging a made up case ignored by one party completely? How pretentious. You can pay a few street bums in every continent to set up a clown tribunal and declare you ruler of the world too. That's just as much of an international verdict as this one.

Number of cases this "tribunal" has issued judgements on: 17
Number of cases where its judgements were ignored: 17

Any actions against China is done by CIA™.

True, here is your reward :nana:

The Chinese will focus on the viets first. The heat will be on you. Better pack your bags and return to fight. Lol

If the Philippines wants to draw the benefit -- or just have bragging rights -- they should pay for the effort.

Maybe India can shoulder the bill since you guys are over excited over the SCS verdict , you guys are the most to jump of joy so you should pay for the excitement emotional feeling.

$30 million can really pay a lot of Pinoy nannies in HK.
They have to work so hard there with inhuman income and benefit, and never regarded as normal residents but an asset to sell and buy.
HK municipal government should take action to deport them and let Pinoy regime itself give those nannies water and rice.

by bringing China to the international court of justice.

It is not the ICJ, Einstein. You have not even gotten that basic fact?

You are just mixing things up, just like you have done above and @+4vsgorillas-Apebane has kindly corrected you.

You had made a similar slip of basic intelligence skills on Chin's high speed rail thread, yesterday.

You do notice that you make a bad impression of your brave and proud nation in terms of basic comprehension.

On topic, there is in fact one group of winner in this case. It is the army of lawyers and experts, mostly from the US and Australia.

They got truck loads of money from this.

The money will be good spent. Even if another $30 millions.

If I were Vietnamese, I would think the same way. PH did the dirty job with no real time effect and assumed all the practical costs while you simply sent a delegation to the hearings just in case "the PH side would claim something that could hurt Vietnam's sovereignty in SCS."

It is not that you two are the best friends. You just used them. To that, hats off!
