Malala Yousafzai Wins Nobel Peace Prize for Pakistan.

Promotion of right to education for girl child is a very noble cause...

I might not be very aware of the grievances that people have from her? can you summarize the issue
thanks
Its not about grievances but whether she was the one who deserved it while many more deserving candidates in Pakistan (and elsewhere in the world) were ignored. Please see the points I have raised above.

Right-wing Taliban lovers are all worked up over a little girl's achievement.

Long live Malala, may you a remain a pain in the a** of the jingoists and right-wingers.

Only surprised? Does this not provoke any thought? All senior members (minus Zarvi the great) have vehemently apposed tyrannic TTP throughout, yet are not in support of Malala. This shows that TTP and Malala are two different issues and should be dealt, and analyzed individually.

1. Have you ever seen her conversing in English? This is her command (if it could be called command at all) of English today while in England. Was she really the one who wrote for BBC at the age of 9? several years ago in Sawat?

2. Writing anonymously for BBC against TTP - what kind of bravery is this? If she had revealed her identity and publicly condemned, and wrote against TTP while staying in Sawat, it would be a different thing but did that happen?

3. There are much more prominent educationists in Pakistan who literally devoted their ENTIRE life for the cause of Education in general and girls education in particular. Late Professor Anita Ghulam Ali is on such example. She was not even nominated for an international award let alone Nobel. What Malala has done in comparison to Professor. Ghulam Ali?

4. Her father owned a private School in Sawat in which she was a student. Due to TTP, his business went down and completely shut down when Army went into Sawat and used the School as a post. In her book (albeit who wrote it), she has expressed her disgust against Pakistan Army for using the School as an Army post. This clearly appears to be a case of conflict of interest. She did not speak for the girls of Sawat but for her father's business.

Is the viewpoint presented above consistent with the GoP too?

GoP's and the Pakistani public point of view has never been the same and will never be unless Shareefs and Bhuttos are no longer in power. GoP has never represented Pakistanis but always supported and forwarded the agenda of the foreign powers.

Meh, si is being used as a mediator between Indo-Pak relations which have worsened and India giving reply to Ceasefire Violations.
That is all.
What was the need to put a religious Angle to it calling it Hindu and Muslim india and pakistan by Nobel committee?

. . .
Congratulations, Malala. So happy for you. Keep up the Nobel work!!

Shareefs and Bhuttos are the two sides of the same coin. Both are same in every respect, and take turns to rule Pakistan. No typo but the fact.
dear
When you say the following
GoP's and the Pakistani public point of view has never been the same and will never be unless Shareefs and Bhuttos are in power.

you are saying infact saying that GOP and Public opinion will be the same only if sharif/bhutto are in power....

I do think that is a typo... but I do understand what you are saying... i wonder if public opinion is different how do these leaders get elected...

She didn't stood to Taliban yes going to Mars with more than 40 crore living under poverty line yes Jinah used to eat them but left in last 15 years nothing wrong just west hates Pakistan and its nuclear program and you abuse Pakistan you qualify to be a perfect bitc# fully deserve to be awarded peace prize just like Dalai Lama loved by west because he works against China

Learn to speak English before typing such drivel.

Great achievement... She is a great ambassador for Pakistan...

I am surprised to see how many senior pakistani members are critical of her....

They are critical of her because they have been brainwashed since childhood into thinking Pakistan is the greatest country in the history of the world and the vanguard of Islam. And anyone who criticizes it automatically is part of this grand conspiracy because India, USA, Israel have nothing better to do than plot the downfall of the Islamic Nuclear Power.

And as such Malala is labelled as such. There is no hope for these people. They will continue to live in their little fantasy world and will always be championing for Pakistan and yet will always try to find a way to immigrate to the west.

Such is the hypocrisy of their arguments.

Oh, I see. It should be ".... unless Shareefs and Bhuttos are no longer in power.". There are several threads on Pakistani politics, which discuss why and how these rascals get elected in a musical chair game. I don't want to derail this thread, which is about Malala.

Congratulation to Malala. May almighty give her long life full of Happiness. My good wishes are there with her.

You have also left for the greener pastures, haven't you? why ridiculing others for what you chose for yourself too?

The difference is this. I am open to criticizing Pakistan's short comings. Whether its in lack of women's rights, crime, corruption, etc.

The problem with people like you is that you cannot stand anyone who criticizes Pakistan and automatically assume that anyone that does must have some foreign influence. Like Malala being backed by India, Israel and USA.

People like me also openly criticize wrong things in Pakistan. You will only know if you get to read those posts. Your issue is, you read only your own posts and assume about the rest. Nowhere in my post did I mention her backing by India, Israel, or US. Stop generalizing and putting your words in others mouths.
