BSNL can be made profitable if government has a will to do so. BSNL may be the sole option for rural people across India. I personally know how for some "unknown" corporates/entities, BSNL broadband facility is deteriorated purposefully.

It's an oil&Gas PSU with total assest of more than $43bill running at an operating income of $5.4bill an with a profit margin of $3.8bill its dealing in Green. Sorry to break ur bubble. Try to understand the issue why someone wants to privatise ONGC before trolling in haste. Anyways for now two more blocks will be awarded to ONGC in "SCS"

When Postal and Telegraph dept. decided to close down "The Telegram" permanently from a certain date last year, people rushed to Telegram friends and relatives and even themselves out of nostalgia or to keep a souvenir.
