What's new

LOL BJP losing delhi

Pranab Mukherjee was the last of the breed frankly. And even he was sidelined.
Yep, would have been happy if he was incharge. That is the end of Congress, they cannot produce anymore credible leaders.Their Grassroots foundations have been diminished or finished to favour Sycophants of Dynasty.

.
My prediction for delhi assembly election 2015...:mod:
BJP - 32-36
AAP - 30-34
INA - 0-4
BTW actual figure will come on 10 feb:-)

.
If I am forced (I mean really forced) to elect between Rahul Gandhi and Kejriwal & Co., I will choose Rahul Gandhi. :D

May I know why such aversion towards AAP?

Not expected from senior poster like you. I can give you examples of many BJP supporters on PDF who never abuses or speak bad words for other posters even if they are Congressis or AAPians.

I'm sure there are such people in this forum, but if you go by this thread, anyone who doesn't support BJP is Islamist, Jehadi, anti Hindu. So basically you are labeling 70 % of the people in India as anti Hindu when majority of them are Hindus themselves. Even I'd say many of the 31% of people who voted BJP, voted because of it's agenda of development, not because it's agenda of love jihad, 4 kids per woman etc.

What we are witnessing in this thread is fear mongering, Hindus are in danger if we vote for AAP, BJP is the savior of Hinduism etc. This is worst type of communal politics and no different than how Mulayam or Lalu shoot to fame in 90s.

May I know why such aversion towards AAP?

Claims Batla house encounter fake
Tries to stall Republic day Parade
AAP vigilantes treatment of African women and constant interference in hospitals.
Their Okhla candidate having links with IM as claimed by an Army Major who recently left AAP
Prasant Bhusan claims Bhagat SIngh was a terrorist and not to mention wanting to free Kashmir
Freebee's socialistic policies already tried and tested by Congress

these are just a few

Are you claiming pdf is India ? :cheesy: ....... or even its an accurate representation of India ?

Sadly that is True. A vote for BJP IS a Vote for Hinduism. BJP has an agenda to defend, nurture and safeguard Hinduism. I don't suppose that is a sin, is it ?

Maybe when Other "Secular" parties stop being Anti-Hindu, this will stop.

People voted for development and this was an Hindu consolidation of votes. Love jihad is very much a reality, just people like to be an Ostrich about it. Anything related to Hinduism in this country is insulted, humiliated tried to put down by seculars. Stop being Anti Hindu and pandering to minorities and this "communal" politics will stop

Btw, Kejriwal is a busket case. I am telling you he is no honest messiah that he is projecting to be, he is an opportunist with huge political ambitions who can go to any length to grab power, he is an imposter who is fooling people. Such people are far more dangerous than known culprits.
@Guynextdoor2

And what is wrong if someone has political ambition? Isn't it better for the country if educated people enlist themselves in politics when most of us shudder at the thought of joining politics?

.
Tell us something new.
My family were Hardcore congressis and My father helped form Youth Congress in AP during those years.
Right now, Most of my family are BJP supporters, well some old ones exist still, who vote for congress but,its only 1 or 2. My family is huge 130+ members and i haven't even counted extended family yet.Why this shift happened was because of Dynastic rule.It was all fine till P.V. Narasimha Rao was ruling.
Shit hit the fan when the "Gandhis" entered the picture and started running the nation as their fiefdom, not to mention their Anti-Hindu stance.Congress though left of Center or Center party earlier, was not so Anti-Hindu in previous tenures, since Sonia took in charge it has become rabidly Anti-hindu and it cost the party a lot.
If Congress cannot shed its Anti-hindu image that is associated with "Gandhis" and the party itself right now, there is no chance for it to ever raise again,Modiji will make sure it will be buried forever.
Simply put there are no leaders in Congress other than Pappu and rest are all Sycophants to the Dynasty. Those days have gone where they could produce leaders like PVNR etc.

PVNR was the best performing PM Congress has given after Nehru, and he came in a very tough time for the country.

It was "...opportunist with huge political ambitions" ............ the key world was "Opportunist". Not Political ambition, But of course you know that, only you pretend not to notice it.

Are you claiming pdf is India ? :cheesy: ....... or even its an accurate representation of India ?

Which part of my post are you referring to? 31% people of India voted for BJP in last election and as per this thread they are all anti Hindu, I don't see any confusion in it.

Sadly that is True. A vote for BJP IS a Vote for Hinduism. BJP has an agenda to defend, nurture and safeguard Hinduism. I don't suppose that is a sin, is it ?

No that's fine, but if that is your primary agenda and development and good governance take the backseat then the floating voters would choose the other option.

The reason behind this is safeguarding/defending Hinduism is relative to person we are talking to, so what may seem defending Hinduism to a VHP supporter, may seem rabble rousing to a more relaxed person.

It was "...opportunist with huge political ambitions" ............ the key world was "Opportunist". Not Political ambition, But of course you know that, only you pretend not to notice it.

I choose to ignore it because I thought it was grossly exaggerated, so I took the most reasonable bit of his post and wanted to discuss about it. You are not Dray, let him reply.

There is a truth in you argument that parties in past did pander to minorities, however when you say "Anything related to Hinduism in this country is insulted, humiliated tried to put down by seculars", you are again charting in the fear mongering zone.

Hinduism is not dogmatic, so your Hinduism might not be my Hinduism and we can still live with it and call each other Hindu. There is a growing tendency of molding Hinduism to an Abrahamic cast which goes against very idea of Hinduism.

Not fear mongering when ever Holy comes up half a dozen articles come out lecturing us on how it wastes water, when ever Diwali comes up suddenly seculars remember about environment. And then there is a habit of shaming generalizing and stereotyping Hindu religious leaders by calling them "Godmen" . When Mullahs and Bishops rape or does a crime, Media is silent but when you have some random religious leader who is Hindu does something you end up with broad stereotypes and generalizations on Hinduism. Hinduism is not Dogmatic, but people can only take so much before they reply in kind.

PVNR was the best performing PM Congress has given after Nehru, and he came in a very tough time for the country.
I know, but the way he was treated and insulted at the behest Sonia Gandhi and leaders like Sitaram Kesri were necked out of Congress party HeadQuarters ushered in a 'Dynastic era' as with every dynasty it produces idiots and it happened to be Pappu.Thank god it stopped with him if Pappu was even a tad bit intelligent,India would have suffered another 50 years.

About AAP: That's a party of activists, they are better outside the government in an agitating role, governing needs different skill sets and attitude. In short, I neither like their 'policies', nor I have faith in their ability to govern a state/country.

About Kejriwal: He is a hypocrite, his 'anti-corruption' and 'austerity' are just political stunts (proven), while everyone 'fakes' in politics, he goes on to point fingers at everyone else, it is moral dishonesty which I dislike more than anything else.

Claims Batla house encounter fake
Tries to stall Republic day Parade
[/QUOTE]

And he openly admitted his mistake and learned from it, which I'd say refreshingly new in Indian political spectrum.

AAP vigilantes treatment of African women and constant interference in hospitals.

Even I was shocked when this happened but it looks like there is more to the story than what media reported, there is no wrong doing found in investigation against the AAP politician.

Their Okhla candidate having links with IM as claimed by an Army Major who recently left AAP

This is just an allegation without any proof.

Prasant Bhusan claims Bhagat SIngh was a terrorist and not to mention wanting to free Kashmir

This is falsification.

The reasoning of NCERT to refuse to remove the part about Bhagat Singh is because they wanted to teach the students about how freedom fighters were treated by Britishers,it said Britishers declared him a terrorist and not that the NCERT guys portrayed him as one and supported the Britishers

Freebee's socialistic policies already tried and tested by Congress

these are just a few

I answered this couple of times before, there is no absolute capitalism and all government provide subsidies.

First of all,Did you Vote for BJP?

I am from West Bengal, I didn't find a suitable party to vote in last few election and I'm in NY for last one year anyway.

No, I completely agree with this part.

Are safeguarding Hinduism and Good Governance Mutually exclusive ? If not, your statement repreents a fallacy.

We can debate the various methods for defending Hinduism, however the need and desire to safeguard Hinduism exists and is very much needed. A Vote for BJP is a sure way to reinforce and demonstrate that desire and ensure action.

I choose to ignore it because I thought it was grossly exaggerated, so I took the most reasonable bit of his post and wanted to discuss about it. You are not Dray, let him reply.

Just pointing out the obvious.
