Li Keqiang hails Pakistan as China's 'iron brother'

Can't say anything about China, however, you do need to visit Turkiye. You will truly understand the meaning of brotherly love. I have been here for a long long time, believe me I know. I understand very well if and when someone is lying or acting. Love of these people is genuine for Pakistan, we on the other hand actually don't deserve any of it.

Trust me, I don't even feel so much loved in Pakistan than I do here, and that goes for EVERY visitor from back home who has visited me.

No brother hood-hood. Just allies with common interests.

You will get a shock of life to treat any other country as a "brother".

peace

p.s. Iron brother Pakistan has been rusting for many decades now :(. Hope the new government puts some "rust proofing on us soon.

@NALANDA

Some very bright points there. However, chances of this happening are pretty slim until we create 'intedependability',both economic and strategic. I.e If America invades Pakistan today a huge majority of Indians would be clapping with, joy without knowing what it means for them.

Do you really believe that bolded part of your statement ? Contary to your assertion and the belief of many Pakistani members on this forum, India would hate to see American troops invade Pakistan. Pakistan borders India. If the Yanks invade Pakistan, the instability in that country would be catastrophic for India. Not even a million troops on the Indian border could prevent the influx of refugees. India in any event cannot turn back refugees in terms of international law. Apart from that (and despite the denial of some Indian and Pakistani members here) on a more emotional note, North India and a large part of Pakistan share a close cultural bond. Why would any brother encourage an outsider to invade his brother's home despite their personal differences? All that Indians hate about some Pakistanis is their support of terrorists / "freedom fighters" who infiltrate India including that part of Kashmir governed by India. If you beleive that Indians don't have any sympathy for Pakistan's crisis including its civil war and its domestic problems such as the electricity crisis then you surely have the wrong end of the stick

The Turks are just generally a warm nation of people. I have many Turkish friends and your words aptly describe them

That was actually symbolic way of saying that indians are "Idiots" times three, in sight of PM... so he wanted to "watch" these "idiots" before visiting friends...

i.e. this is what indians are, "3 idiots"...
I wonder who's an idiot here? You must be, because there are 1.3 billion idiots in India, not just 3!!! :P Do some research before spewing uninformed baloney!! :cuckoo:

And you weren't funny by half! Your so called 'humor' is as flat as a pancake!

No...Chinese are quite the opposite of your description. They are immature when it comes to diplomacy and are a long long way before they even catch up with the old Master USA

China immature?

When China was playing the game of diplomacy the US was not even born。

I know where you get the impression from。It is the western media which accuse China of being diplomatically immature when the SOB can't get what they want. India is diplomatically "mature" only because India always behaves when it comes to dealing with the west.

And you only believe what you are told by the western propaganda.

Your space program is so backward. It's all done with foreign tech. You have no navigation system and you won't have it for a very long time despite your grandiose plans. Pakistan will now be using our Beidou satnav system to guide their missiles and others.
Great analysis from a newbie! 19 posts and he's already started firing his dud missiles!!

China is a good friend to pakistan, no doubt. But I dont understand as to why Chinese premier visited India as his first visit instead of iron friend Pakistan ?

Because you begged!

That's diplomacy. A game that the old boys at China's FM play as easily as turning their hands.:omghaha:

You are a senior member in this forum. Making immature and unfounded statements of the type bolded above embarrasses not only you but this forum.

Yes they are warm people, indeed. However, you really do need to understand that they feel extremely close to people of Pakistan than any other nation. You can ask any of your Turkish friends about it. It's impossible for me to put those feelings into words.

China is offering friendship, The Pakistanis as usual want hand outs, The Chinese offer that Pakistan stand on her own tow feet (make money and pay taxes), Pakistan is looking for China to bail her out like US does -- So, really it's not the Chinese who are a drag, it's the Pakistanis, they just do not want to do for themselves --- So the Chinese offer what the Pakistanis are culturally conditioned to accept regardless of whether it has substance or not, like any praise *****.

This concept of praise ***** is one one that more Pakistanis should explore, in the hope to understand that the Chinese are saying "talk is cheap" -- if the Pakistani state wants to send the message that it is a worthy military partner, don't escort a civilian aircraft with military jets, use the military jets to destroy terrorists who are trained in Pakistan against China -- there is no bar from the Chinese side to increase trade, but the Pakistanis is more interested in who is a Muslim, a Shia and a Ahmadi -- So, really, it's not the Chinese who are holding this relationship back -- you will have noted that the Chinese Premier is quoted as saying that "that is STILL great potential in this relationship" -- why do you suppose he used the word, "still"??

Muse is following in the footsteps of Hassan Nisar, mashallah god bless him.

We should seek a better relationship with China. China is the reason we have a proper nuclear program. They have helped us in almost everything we Pakistanis have wished to achieve. Pakistan should move closer to China and allow them to station troops within Pakistan. China is a very reliable partner.

These are the reasons we should piggyback on China and try to rise with them.

Why China:
1) Helped us greatly with nukes-US applied sanctions
2) Common interests. Chinas war with India in 1962.
3) Chinese rise as a superpower. Piggyback on it and we can rise too but we don't see the opportunity. As US sinks China will rise.
4) Higher than mountains and deeper than the seas-thats our relationship Hu Jin Tao said. They have helped us up when we were going through sanctions and were not getting exotic US machinery, J10's, JF17's.
5) One day China will beat the US economically and militarily. We should choose the right side and consider our future.

This thread strengthens my belief that how Pakistanis are delusional about Sino-Pak ties. A friend is always available in need. China did not provide a big assistance during tough time of Pakistan. Where is China for WoT, Drone attacks, Financial downfall, Earth quake etc but still Pakistanis in this forum talk about great ties with China.

China is businessman of the world. They talk good to everyone where there is possibility of business nothing else. Give me a damn good example where he helped any nation without any profit.

China has helped pakistan in many spheres, especially in defence equipments. Compared to other friends they have, china helped them most. BTW pakistan is not north korea, china is not going to go to war with others to save them.
