Tell me something. In your family if you had one brother starving or homeless would be giving your surplus money to a unknown person in Syria? And what about Yemen? Or are they too dark? Is this about pretty little girls on tearjerker videos???

Are you serious? Syria is literally in rubble, being constantly pounded by airstrikes everyday. They need the charity FAR more than we do.

Anyway, we should not distinguish based on nationality/ethnicity.

There isn't a single place in Pakistan as violent as Syria, that includes the LOC.

I'd give charity to both Syrians and my family members, I try to not discriminate.

We should give charity to Yemenis as well, I don't care how dark they are or which children look the sweetest, I care about helping those who suffer, primarily other Muslims (but also non-Muslims too).

Doesn't work here, since Pakistan is in a FAR better situation than Syria.

Anyway, you should help yourself first since it's unlikely you'll make it in time to save the other guy, and you have kids.

Its all depend on who is in dire need of your money/help
We should help our close ones but if its matter of life or death for others and your help could save lives then why you are against helping Syrian Muslims. Every country help others in the time of crisis

you guys serious remember 2007-2011 ? just before the Syrian war- Pakistan was suffering bombings and terror attacks on near daily basis, TTP was running riot all over the country and Pakistan was devastated by floods of biblical proportions. Pakistan is also one of the most lowest countries in terms of human development and minority rights . The literacy rate of pakistani women is barely 50% don't we need it too ?
Sorry but I don't recall Syria or any other Arabs stepping up in solidarity for us back then or even now when trump has been attacking us ! why do we act as if we owe them something and have a one way relationship with these people I mean seriously I never hear about Pakistanis talking about Somalia which has been suffering for decades it's like Syria/Palestine is the only crisis. Yes I feel bad for Syria but better to start with your own people. I have no problem with sending charity but only when you get yourselves developed first !

Charity is voluntarily act and people should be free to donate whoever they wish if its their personal wealth ..why we are making big fuss about it
