There can be infinite numbers divisible by all the digits. Or are you asking for the Lowest Common Multiple?

ok my turn.

A 5 feet long cow is tighted with a 3 feet long string at neck. The grass is 8 feet away from it. How it will eat that grass?

Note: Animals (herbivours) don't eat any food which touched their feet.

Cow just walk and eat the grass.. :azn: (its tied with 3ft long string around the neck) so no prob for walking..

Sure FlyingEagle, there is only one way I know of finding out the LCM:

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 - Divide them by each digit, one by one, until only 1 is left in the list.


First let us divide them by 2 (save this 2 on one side, to calculate the LCM), and the result is (Do not touch those that are not divisible):

2 |1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 = 1,1,3,2,5,3,7,4,9

Repeat the process till there is nothing but 1 is left in the list.

2 |1,1,3,2,5,3,7,4,9 = 1,1,3,1,5,3,7,2,9

2 |1,1,3,1,5,3,7,2,9= 1,1,3,1,5,3,7,1,9

2's multiples are gone, now similarly start with three:

3 |1,1,3,1,5,3,7,1,9 = 1,1,1,1,5,1,7,1,3

3 |1,1,1,1,5,1,7,1,3 = 1,1,1,1,5,1,7,1,1

Now 3's Multiples are gone, so start with 5:

5 |1,1,1,1,5,1,7,1,1 = 1,1,1,1,1,1,7,1,1

Now 5's multiples are gone, start with 7:

7 |1,1,1,1,1,1,7,1,1 = 1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1

Now, since we have divided it completely to get 1, multiply all the divosors ( marked in Red Color) and you will get the answer:

2 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 3 x 5 x 7 = 2520

Disregard if any calculation mistake I might have committed, but this is the way I always find out the LCM. Looks lengthy, but is very quick once you get a hang of it.:cheers:

My Reason: Every number satisfying the criterion would be a multiple of the LCM.

What are the significance of the numbers 786 in Islam? Here in Africa many Muslims use those numbers for good luck on their car plates etc. Some many years ago a Muslim friend explained the significance to me but I forgot
 
you keep adding 360, and divide by 7, thats the only number you can't get an answer without decimal. A circle can be divided into all the numbers except 7 where you get a decimal number leaned this trig.

786 means Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim

In Arabic, the alphabets have numerical significance too. And according to some sequence (I think it's called Abjad), when the numerical value of "Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim" is taken, it adds up to 786.

So in a way, 786 = Bismillah.
