Army rescues 2,000 people in rain-hit areas of Badin
BADIN: The Army has rescued more than 2,000 people of rain-hit areas of district Badin. Some 325 of them have evacuated on boats from different villages of coastal belt of the district.

The Army is taking care of majority of these displaced people, Commander Rescue Brig Javed Iqbal told media persons who visited these flooded areas on Thursday. He said eight army boats were engaged in the rescue operations in Golarchi, Khoski and Tando Bagho areas of the district.

He said the Pakistan Army has established rescue camps at various sites. The flood affected people are being provided food and first aid at camps. Besides mobile medical camps, the army were visiting various flooded areas. Medicines were also being provided to the people free of cost and “5285 people have so far been provided medical treatment at these camps,” he said adding if needed the patients would be referred and shifted to other army-run health facilities and civil hospitals in the district.

He said that no casualty had so far reported in the above areas. However, he said, the Army has to use pressure in some areas when water crosses the red-line and the residents are hesitant to leave their homes.

that what i have requested in start.
nation haven't fully recovered from the disastrous flood of 2010. we still remember the Chaos and the overwhelming response of the Pakistan Military (All Branches) coming to the rescue of flood affectees.
the situation is bad again, many cities in Sindh have been hit again and the military is again equal to the Task.
the thread is dedicated to the devoted men in Uniform taking out the rescue operation in Holy month of Ramadan.
