funny article.... why then have the indian navy rejected it? oh yes ofc because it's superior

Navy requires Twin Engined plane ; naval requirements are always different

F 18 ; MIG 29 K ; Rafale M ; Su 33 ; J15 --
ALL these Naval Aircraft Carrier Borne planes
are twin engined

The Tejas is an exceptional aircraft. It's air dominance is such that the India air force deems it unfair on the opposition to field it in numbers. They wish to give their opponents a fighting chance and limit the kill ratio of their legendary pilots. For this reason the India air force would rather choose inferior weapons platforms such as mirage 2000, MKI, Rafael etc

That is absolutely right ; The Thrill of the Hunt is also important

Tejas would be an Over kill for its enemies

Please Show me Some where IAF Retracted .RAF words More than Enough to Know they have shaken!!!!
However, the RAF has rubbished claims the IAF beat British crews '12-0' in the latest exercise, with a source describing the boast as "comical".

They said British pilots did not make use of the advanced technology at their disposal and were effectively fighting "with one arm behind their backs".(What a Excuse):lol::lol:Here they contadict they own claims above :omghaha::omghaha:

In Previous exercises they boosted there Ego why not this time ??? :D
Don't swallow yourself, it was all over the media including Indian thus it was also revealed that on at least three occasions, the Indian aircraft had to stand down due to being non serviceable.

NEW DELHI: The Indian Air Force on Monday night sought to play down the controversy dogging a recent air exercise with UK over "performance" saying there are no classic wins and losses in such deployment.
British daily 'The Independent' last week reported that "to the dismay of RAF officers, their Indian counterparts have reportedly taken the unusual step of publicly claiming to have come away from the exercise with a resounding 12-0 victory against their UK opponents".

The daily quoted RAF sources as saying that the Indian claims were "comical" and "designed for domestic audience".
Quoting sources, it added, "There must have been some clouded recollection on the flights back to India, as the headlines of the Indian press bear no relation to the results".

The second JF 17 which crashed in the sea was unable to recover after
a hard manuver
Really, were you catching your dinner in the sea and watching what happened.
or maybe you are confusing it with the AN-32 that went into Bay of Bengal.

IAF must be full of retards to spend billions on upgrading 20 year old Mirages instead of ordering Tejas.

"J" in JF-17 is for Joint. By pigeons closing the eyes, cats do not disappear.

............Talking about Tejas, which has been inducted in the IAF, he said, IAF has placed an order of 123 Tejas Mark 1. "Every year, 16 Tejas aircrafts will be built on two assembly lines. By 2024, all the aircrafts will be inducted in the IAF whereas Tejas Mark 2 version will be ready by 2021," he said, adding that Tejas is superior than France's Mirage and China's JF-17 fighter jets.
"So far, Tejas has taken 4,000 flights and in none of them it has met with even a minor accident which is a record in itself.

. . . . .
The JF-17 is superior to the Rafale and the MiG-35.

See what sort of claims I can make without being obligated to back them up?

F 18 ; MIG 29 K ; Rafale M ; Su 33 ; J15 --
ALL these Naval Aircraft Carrier Borne planes
are twin engined

So they suddenly become different after years of alleged confirmed reports that navy would buy a large number.

The reality was the navy rejected LCA because it was a flop otherwise there eouls never have been decades worth of speculation

Why is your airforce looking for a alternative single engined fighter to do the exact same role as LCA?

.
You are not making any sense here

If you want to be an Ostrich ; so be it

DO you really think that we dont know about JF 17's weaknesses
Yes Quack, Indians know all about others except themselves.....else your Tejas wouldn't be running 20 odd years late or tour top of the line fighter 60% operational.

What is so hard to understand

Naval variant was NOT an absolute necessity

It was an R & D project to see how much we can push the plane

What is the harm in doing your own R & D

And Air Force is looking for another single engined fighter
because we have a very large Number of planes to replace

If your PAF has to replace 190 ; then Imagine Ours being more than
Three Time larger Air force;
we have how much replacement to do

And above all these Foreign players Bring a Lot more than Just weapons

It is about Technology and Investment and High tech manufacturing at Home
GOOD JOBS for Indians

The LCA Mk 2 is some years away

And by bringing in Private sector to manufacture planes
we can replace them quicker

HAL which makes Tejas is A Govt company ; it works at its own pace

Yes Quack, Indians know all about others except themselves.....else your Tejas wouldn't be running 20 odd years late or tour top of the line fighter 60% operational.

Even If Tejas is late ; we have a very strong Air Force

And 60 Percent operational availability is for peace time

There Always exist War time Reserves ; when the Balloon goes up
ALL planes will be UP and RUNNING

You mean to say A Professional Air force like IAF which is
READY for a Two Front War
AND which exercises with all TOP Air forces of the world
has to Take lessons in
Inventory Management and Force Planning Concepts -FROM YOU

.
You can write all to satisfy your tiny ego, have you noticed no one is even replying to your self satisfying gloats.
Here's a wake up call, in an exercise between JF-17 and an aircraft similar to the Indian SU-30, the JF-17 due to it's small size was able to detect the heavier opponent first, launch missiles and break off.... period.

The only plane similar to SU30MKI in the world is the SU35 .
And the reason for that the only two flanker variants to have TVC engines are infact the indian & Russian flankers

So unless the JF17 trained with Russian SU35 your statement is incorrect

HOWEVER if you referring JF17 training with chinease J11 J16 or SU27 /30 then ANSWER THIS QUESTION ???????????????????????????????

WHY doers china indict 500 flankers in ten years

AND NOT A SINGLE THUNDER/FC1 ...

PLEASE EXPLAIN THJIS since its a JF17 is a chinease developed fighter

(I know the answer already)

just waiting fpr your excuses windjammer
