So TuAF has 30 block 50+ F16...

How much 52+ does greece have? just out of curiosity

. . .
That can't be so ! Even the PAF has 32 Block 52s.

Yup, Turkey currently posses only 30 Block 50+, 175 F-16s will receive FULL-CCIP Upgrade while the 35 Oldest Block 30 will receive CCIP-LITE Upgrade, Difference in upgrade is the V9 radar(FULL-CCIP) and mission computer(CCIP-LITE). One of the F-16s that was phased out in the proces of Block 50+ induction will receive indegenious OZGUR upgrade as a test-bed for avionics.

FULL-CCIP = American upgrade package
CCIP-LITE = BAE Upgrade package

I am not very sure of the accuracy of the source but here is the list I took from balkanalysis.com.

Greece, as they have thousands of islands in the Aegean Sea, historically pays very much attention to keep their air force powerful. They have almost equal (slightly weaker) air attack capabilities and more air defence capibilities when compared to Turkiye. (Turkiye has much more powerful navy and army when compared to Greece)

Advanced types

Greece: F-16′s (Block 50 and Block 52+) and Mirage 2000-5 Mk2: 113 jets

Turkey: F-16′s Block 50: 30 jets on order (an estimated 10 have already arrived)

Older modern jets

Greece: F-16′s (Block 30/40/50) and Mirage 2000 EGM/BGM: 92 jets

Turkey: F-16′s (Block 30/40/50): 203 jets

Older types

Transport planes

Greece: C-130 and C-27J Spartan: 27 planes

Turkey: C-130 and C-235: 80 planes

Nah, he is talking about the TF-X project.

Thanx bro.

But what i ment was that There is nothing on the table. To say its a tai/Saab thing is to early.
We don't know if we are doing it solo or if we are gona find partners like brazil or Japan.

I know that the swedes are looking for partner to the Griffin NG but I don't think they are gona help the Turks with a "new" plane when they are trying to sell there own design to the world.

Peace
