Saudi Arabia has accused Iran of straying into its territory near oil and gas fields in the Gulf and warned it was looking at how to respond, the Saudi ambassador to the United Nations said.

In a letter to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Saudi authorities said Iranian helicopters flew several times over a gas field at Hasba, Abdullah Al-Muallami was quoted as saying in Okaz daily yesterday.

The letter also said two Iranian navy boats intercepted a vessel belonging to state-owned oil giant Saudi Aramco.

“I have submitted to Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon a letter that details Iran’s breaches of the official conventions and treaties between it and Saudi Arabia,” Al-Muallami said.
Al-Muallami said the Saudi government had not requested international intervention but was “studying the appropriate practical steps to deal with the issue.”

He said the Kingdom reserved the right to respond with appropriate action to protect its territory and oil.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry has sent a letter to the Iranian Foreign Ministry demanding that such incidents are not repeated and stressing that the areas where the incidents occurred are Saudi-owned under agreements signed between the two countries in 1968, Al-Muallami said.

No one is bitching. Its a public warning, if Iran does it again there will be consequences. Iran acts like a baby always testing the patience of its neighbours until it gets slapped back to reality.

Typical Abii reply.

*Looks at flag of person*

*Starts insulting the respected country*

*Talks about current events, and blames the country for it*

*Starts laughing, and if the person replies back, acts as if they are in denial*

*Goes to the streets of Iran and starts crying when he realizes his people are suffering more and more

RIYADH: Foreign ministers of the six-nation Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) called on Israel on Wednesday to refrain from provocative gestures and strongly condemned the incursion of Israeli forces’ into the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and their clashes with Palestinian worshippers.

The GCC foreign ministers, meeting in Riyadh, also condemned Tel Aviv for the deliberate inclusion of several Islamic monuments, including Al-Ibrahim Mosque in Al-Khalil, (Hebron) and Bilal Mosque in Bethlehem, among its Jewish heritage and culture sites.
The meeting, chaired by Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Kuwaiti deputy prime minister and foreign minister, also criticized the Israeli excavation under the fences of occupied Jerusalem, and said: “These acts represent provocations for Muslims all over the world” and a plan to wipe out the great cultural remnants of Islamic history.
The ministers urged the UN Security Council to intervene and act swiftly to stop these actions, said a press statement issued after the meeting. The ministers also called on the international community to act firmly against the Israeli practices, which included “annexation of Palestinian territories in complete disregard of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.”
The ministers urged UNESCO and other heritage bodies to take necessary measures to save Al-Aqsa Mosque and other Islamic sites from Israeli assaults.
The ministers called on Tehran to cooperate fully with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and they also pledged full political and financial support to Yemen. They stressed the right of countries in the region to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes within the framework of the relevant international conventions; they demanded compliance with these conventions by all countries of the region, including Israel, without any exception.
The statement said that the Gulf states had renewed their positions and extended their support to the UAE in its disagreement with Tehran about the ownership of certain islands in the Gulf.
The ministers said that they would attend a meeting on March 17 in Sanaa in order to map out future strategies to improve peace and security in Yemen in particular and in the Gulf region as a whole. “The foreign ministers have hailed the decision to stop military operations in northern Yemen,” said GCC Secretary-General Abdul Rahman Al-Attiyah.
He said the ministers had welcomed the return of calm on the Saudi-Yemeni border and the cessation of hostilities in Yemen’s northwest. The ministerial council also renewed its full support for the unity, security and stability of Yemen.
Al-Attiyah said the ministers were briefed about the donors’ conference for Yemen that was very successful in generating aid and support for that country.
On military cooperation, the statement said that all aspects of military cooperation among Gulf states were discussed.
The ministers expressed their concern on the continuing incidents of hijackings in international waterways. They stressed the need to intensify regional and international coordination to deal with these criminal acts.
In the cultural field, the ministers reviewed the MoU between the GCC General Secretariat and the Arab World Institute in Paris. The MoU is part of the GCC’s plan to develop closer cooperation with various cultural institutions around the world.

if you have any problem you can send your toys to the PERSIAN gulf.and if you see any Iranian military object you can shoot it.but becarefull.you can start a war.but finishing the war will be up to us.

We will see who's blood the ARABIAN gulf will be soaked in. Just don't try to waste all our ammo on you guys I know you guys like to use this tactic alot.

lets see what will happen when there is no water supply or there is no electricity at there.lets see how many hour your defence is going to last.

The two of you need to calm down. Iran is no Iraq and waging water against a large country with huge population and cultural might is easier said than done.

What Iran is trying to play is their typical arrogant mindset that they can go around fingering Arabs and they are too timid to respond back. Its a sign of sanctions taking their toll on the ruling clergy and they must engage into some entertaining acrobatics to shift public attention!

In the late 80's two Iranian junk were shoot down by RSAF. I hope Ayatollat didnt forget that.

Any war between Saudi Arabia and Iran

Saudi Arabia will be backed by Gulf States and the United States and NATO.

Which countries will fight alongside Iran?

.
^^ I think Iranians can see that as well... but still there got to be a sane reason for their suicidal provocation and extra ordinary Saudi / Turkish restrain.

Iran is fast turning into a Pariah state breaking all norms of diplomacy and actively engaging in deception, manipulation, interference, and sponsoring of terrorist proxies around its neighborhood. A man whose neighbors are not safe from his excesses will not survive the collective might shall the neighbors gang up on him. The sanctions are biting hard and the ayatollahs are running out of comedies to entertain the masses. Limited war at some point will become inevitable.

^^^^^

Yeah, the most accurate analysis we need is a paid Saudi regime internet warrior who has taken refuge from Pakistan to KSA for a little more money, thus having to accept Saudi propaganda machine.

There won't be any war in future, let me assure you.you won't see your wish coming true.
