Killing India’s hidden ‘Cold Start’ strategy

Hum to nahi shuru karenge, aur na hi apni aabroo jaane denge.
Hum bhi rahenge aur hamaara Hindustan bhi rahega.

hindustan to kal bhi tha or kal bhi rahe ga per usme koi hindustani ya pakistani nahi rahe ga.:D

The Cold Start strategy and Sunderji Doctrine are History. India tried them in 2002 and failed miserably. The Pakistani peace time locations are too close to the border hence in 2002 when India tested Cold Start it was the Pakistanis who were able to deploy first. The Indian went to their parliment to get approval for building new peace time locations nearer to the border but the plan was shot down. It was only then that the Army Chief gave his famous statement about India primarily being defensive.

The main difference between India and Pakistan is that in Pakistan the government listens to the armed forces and in India the armed forces listen to the government

sorry u r wrong cold start strategy was formulated after lessons of 2002. cold start did not exist in 2002.

Super Falcon

Before Iraqi military was decimated by NATO including 6 carrier battle groups

The iraqi military where rated the strongest in mid east and about twice the size in nos of tanks artlillary & combat planes to Pakistani current military fire power.

Iraq was a formidable military power BUT they tangled with the greatest Allied War machine in the world ie NATO.

You are correct indo pak is a far closer match up

.
Yeah, Iraq was formidable with Russian migs.

Only formidable Iraqi i know was Salahdin, who defeated many times bigger NATO with his improvisations and military experience.

The Last Paragraph says it all.

general jahangir karamt whom i assume is a Pakistani Think Tank or General suggests that over the next 10 years India will be in a position to intiate Cold Start successfully.

That is india end game.

If you look at all 3 services and the estimated $100 billion procuremernt plan you can see what shape and size the indians are taking

Most of the necessary equipment is on order or signed for already. But it will take UNTIL 2020 to acquire and deploy in cold start doctrine

C17 globemasters x 10
C130J transports x 16
Apache/longbow helos x 22
Indian indengiuos LAC helio x 60
Dhruv x 300
Mi17 ASSULT helos x 80 more
T90 tanks x 1600
Arjun tanks x 400
Smerch MBRL X 72
Pinka MBRL X 180
1000 bew mobile artllary order yet to be made
2 Airc raft carriers (one indengious) by 2015
Arihant nuke sub x 4 (1st in sea trials)
7 new kolkata class destroyers by 2016 1 nearing sea trials
16 talwar class/krivak class frigates by 2015 6 deplyed already
6 scorpene subs by 2014
Israel UACV
Phalcon awacs x 3 arrived 3 more ordered

*** Now i know Pakistan will respond but they will spend a fraction of $100 billion over the same period >>>

2020 cold start NOT 2011
