The whole story didn't make much impact in Israeli media. Just a minor item that made some people laugh about stupid minister in a distant whateverstan.

One thing is interesting though that while this news of damning consequences for Israel was circulating on net, its only when Asif tweeted, the Israeli defense ministry woke up. In all probability, this "fake" news was planted to gauge the response, and they got the response.

I think that the Israeli state sent out this message on purpose through their ex def minister just see what reaction Pakistan gives out. After they got a moo tor jawab by our khawaja saab.. they dismissed their claim as fake or whatever.

Nevertheless excellent response by the defence ministry. The enemies of Pak should know we don't take nonsense of this sort. Even if it is fake hehe. Btw twitter is not an official forum.

wasn't fake news, it was a deliberate message and fake in the sense that it was branded "fake news", Israel is the best at fake news and the motivation is far more sinister.
