Kerala man feeds hungry street kids in a restaurant, gets surprised by the bill

Anyways,Nah! One time food nothing!
give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime
That is what we want not someones Birthday's treat!(12/24 digested)
That doesn't last long does it?

CAN WE MAKE THIS A PAN NATIONAL THING?Nobody in our land ever went to sleep Hungry, we are fertile land! Lets try a Pilot project people. what say?
a common man can begin by not wasting food and trying to see if surplus food can be given to needy.
in my personal experience, one can volunteer for help to several help group either by making some sort of material or money donation or offering help im form of kitchen service that cater to mid day meal scheme in schools.

Not to boast but we already built a Desalination plant for the whole Village, local School with Toilets and infact developed the whole village,Strengthening Sanatana Dharma, All you need is to show some Love to them.
Then watch Money or Others cannot convert them.

"YOU WANT QUALITY , NOT QUANTITY" .

there is no such thing as karma, if you are helping others for karma its as morally inferior as doing so in expectation of reward from god(as opposed to doing because you feel good in helping others or care about other without seeking anything in return). However helping others for any reason is better than not helping at all.

when i am in India, I rarely give money to beggars or rag pickers. There are so many of them and a few quids here and there will barely make a dent.
Here I usually give money to buskers(people who actually play some sort of musical instruments or sing on highstreet or in train stations), never to beggars or gypsies. Even physical handicap or blindness does not evoke any sense of compassion in me anymore. Am I the only one like that?

Karma is Cause and effect which is a natural phenomena of this universe, A+B=(A+B)2
Newtons laws
in crude words you taunt me in real life, i will break your teeth there and then itself. That is cause and effect in work ;)

Any help or harm will be considered as good or bad karma. which you have to eventually face it.Unless you become Brahmachari not celibate( the one who considers good and bad as equals and expects nothing, but realizes him/her to be the part of Brahman, then at that time Karma and this worldly restraints are off.)

Bro, we took in many homeless kids and tried to give them best education, care and family. They just ran away.because they street kids living on the street are street smart they know how to make money, even a 5 year old kid on street is clever even than your average teenage kids at home whom you sent to best schools. They speak with experience, not theory as schools teach kids.
They dont want to go through all those school things ,when they are getting free money on street.

Do you know the beggars on street have a certain hotels where they get credit for a month ,They eat Biryani or best food everyday. They earn around 500 to 1000 rs a day which some IT people dont even earn..But the pay depreciates as per age.so as they age, they become a syndicate and employ younger kids to beg for them and take their cut everyday.

I used to think they were hungry so went around giving them packaged meals or bread everyday, some of the beggars used to say "bread hai or meals ki pack hai" and frown because they had a biryani before. After i left the spot they would feed the food to dogs.Such is their choice of menu.
But Not all are the same, there are some genuine people who cannot beg out of honor or feel insulted to beg, instead they would starve etc. or real people who are starving, You need to understand them and gauge their response.Differentiate between the haves and have not's it takes some time if you ventured around giving free food, blankets and other things. etc.

Karma is not always a ...you know what! Karma is just, and is instant at times.

Its not often we come across people making kind gestures, especially to the underprivileged. But there are some, who know nothing but to be kind, nothing but to be generous. And for them, karma is just, and mostly instant.

Here's a story of a man, who's name hasn't been disclosed, who encountered instant karma.

The story originally written in Malayalam, and posted to a public group on Facebook by the name Right Thinkers, has by now got over 1190 shares. Here's the story, cut short.

A man entered Hotel Sabrina, run by C Narayanan, in Malappuram in Kerala for dinner, after an all day long meeting, and placed his order. As his order arrived, the man noticed a pair of small eyes, outside the window, wistfully looking at the food served at various tables.

A little ragpicker.

Man gestured the little boy to come in, and he came in with his little sister. He asked them what they'd like to have and the boy pointed at the plate on his table. He ordered another plate.

When the food was served, the little boy couldn't contain his excitement. Just before he started, his sister held his hand, stopping him. He understood she wants them both to wash their hands before starting.

The kids quietly finished the food ordered for them. Neither did they speak to each other, or smile. When done, they rose, looked at the man, washed their hands and left. The man hadn't touched his food yet. He felt full.

He finished his meal and called for the bill. When he got back to the table after washing his hands, he saw the bill and it moved him to tears he had been holding back all this while.

The bill had no amount, but a message for him.

It read, "We don't have a machine that can bill humanity. May good happen to you."

We published the above story this morning, and by evening, it has gone viral, and we were able to trace the unnamed man, our hero in the story.

Meet Akhilesh Kumar, working as a senior technical sales engineer at Power Solution Industries LLC, in Dubai. This was an incident that happened when he was on a short trip to his hometown.

He had written the original post on January 6, in the form of a short story. We also had a conversation with a representative of Hotel Sabrina, but couldn't figure out the generous person at the bill counter who made the heartwarming gesture.

Maybe because generosity could claim his job.
