AT this point in time there are Two stats you should consider

1 Just One Indian state ; Maharashtra has LARGER GDP than Pakistan

2 Indian Economy is Ten times larger than Pakistan and growing at above 7 Percent
while you are barely managing 5 Percent -- that too along with a Huge External debt
and falling exports

SO the Gap between India and Pakistan is Widening every year
NOT decreasing

Under PPP thugs government with MQM target killers being in alliance for most of the last 10 years, there has been development in Karachi.

Law and order, which is the responsibility of the provincial government, is being fulfilled by Pakistan Rangers, a federal paramilitary force.

Since municipal govt is no existent for such a big city, sewers are overflowing, roads are in bad shape and there is no recreational or decent transport facilities available. Thats not how a city should be.

Before MQM, Karachi was much better city. After MQM, its ruins and a sad reflection of its bright past.
