Karachi drowned in sewerage and rain water after rain

.
South Asians are one of the most self centred and indisciplined people in the world(sri lankans a bit ok)...the entire society is to blame not just politicians...politicians are the products of the society...we deserve this.

You know when you have rulers, politicians who buy products from abroad like Gucci, Versace etc, yet they can't spell their own name. I swear I find that scary. Here in England a rookie guy drives cars to Pakistan and sells it there. He got connections now, can bring in dodgy cars.
Here the fcuked up part, the Pakistani politicians are begging him to bring in a car for them.
So these guys that suppose to be most educated and ruling over us (pak) don't know how import a car. I swear we are ruled by the most backwards banderss, that is what scares and puzzles me. In Azad Kashmir the ppl have that ego mentality and show off but no brains.

Karachi people are patriot Pakistanis. Even in many videos posted of this rain, we can see Pakistani flags on rooftops and people wearing shirts with national flags, so dumbs who are giving an angle of traitors should drown in this water.

Lastly PTI need to act fast. Get help from political parties to amend the constitution and get rid of 18th amendment. Let all cities run their show independently without provincial govt interference. Let them recieve funds directly. Provincial govt should not have business on how to develop cities.

Karachi was once the city of the educated and politically literate. What's the use if you won't even get out and demand your rights? The whole city should be out protesting on the streets against the Sindh government. Karachi is an absolute goldmine for the PPP in the sense that people don't even riot against the injustices meted out to them on a daily basis. People expect politicians to fight their battles for them. Well, ain't gonna happen.

. . . .
That was in bad taste.

@topiv,

Such cruel and injustice is the reason why organizations like MQM are born. Mqm had people from every street of Karachi and they understand the city. Karachities voted PTI because mqm went in terrorism route and became a puppet of India but it won't be long when mqm will come back.

And like I mentioned before. I see many ignorant on this thread who have zero clue about what goes in Karachi but they love to poke their nose in a way that would put salt on the wounds and further annoy people.

You said it right. Karachities will againt vote for mqm as PTI failed totally.

No sane person wants to get encountered by Sindh police. What you are asking would work in the west or in waziristan with arms. So lets just agree that MQM's rona dhona is just when they pick up their arms to fight for Karachites rights.
MQM only rises up to exploit the situation and to snatch a piece of the large cake that PPP has been eating...and then it proceeds to eat that piece of cake to fill its own belly. MQM is just as corrupt and mafia like as PPP...the ppl are caught in the middle.

IMO this excessive power given to provincial governments needs to be checked...it has allowed each of these parties to carve out their permanent home base(PPP in Sindh, PML-N in Punjab, etc). It causes funds to be squandered(as they are given to provincial government to handle a large majority of things)...providing a source income for each corrupt party...which further propagates the status quo.
Totally agree. (I actually have a project on the side I’m working on, writing a book to bring about Pakistani Nationalism). My thinking goes as far a removing even the cultural identity of Punjabi, Sindhi etc.

I’ve thought about the idea of arming families and training them after thorough background checks to take out in front of their doorsteps those who come and collect money on behalf of PPP/MQM giving a Pakistani Nationalist enough mechanism to take out these walking devils among us. If some are opposed to this then have trained National Guard members in each area under civilian disguise record who these traitors are and takem out.
That's a slippery slope bro...in a way that's exactly what the militant wing of MQM is...and look where that has gotten us.

Who is to say that everyone will keep a nice and clean moral compass while they are armed and trained? What would become of the law and order situation? I agree that PPP needs to go...but not really sure if this is the solution. My suggestion would be that the ppl(Karachiites and from other parts of Pakistan) start a movement(not a political party) like the US had the civil rights movement. Ppl from other parts need to stand in solidarity with the ppl of Sindh...and organize mass protests demanding the repeal of article 18.

It is the endgame for all political parties in Karachi and the rest of Sindh.

This is going to harm PPP badly. I think federal government and army can take control of Karachi for the time being and help fix some of the problems.

I disagree...I grew up in Lahore...and never came across a single person who had any hate against Urdu speaking ppl or Muhajirs...
...I understand that it's anecdotal evidence...but consider the fact that my grandparents were Muhajirs(they migrated from India after partition)...thus making us "muhajir" and Urdu speaking. Also we had extended family in Karachi that often used to visit...never once did I hear anything negative from anyone...nor see any behavior that would suggest any kind of hate/discrimination from Lahoris.

PS I don't think the term muhajir should even be used anymore. Those who migrated are hardly alive anymore...their progeny is as Pakistani as anyone else. I can't dictate others...but my family and I don't use the term muhajir for us...well also bcuz there was mixing with Punjabis...but u get the point.

Urdu speakers of Punjab are assimilated into the mainstream culture.

Sindh failed them.

There is no widespread racial injustice in Pakistan. The MQM itself was/is the first ethnic party that was erected on racial bias, all these kids talking about injustices either did not see or are conveniently forgetting hundreds of brutal racially-biased murders of simple working-class labourers on daily basis.

There is injustice in the whole of Pakistan and that is not based on racial discrimination rather corrupt politicians/rulers at all levels against common people. All these MQM leftovers who are crying today about corruption of everyone else, what do they have to say about the corruption of their poor middle class Altaf who used to live in an 80SY hose and had honda 50 that they used to project as a proof of his being middle class, how is he financing his luxurious life style in the UK for the last 30 years? He has never worked and is mentally not capable of getting a janitors job. As per these hypocrites all corruption is done by everyone else but their own leader who ruled Karachi like a king for 30 years.
