Danish Kaneria’s case should serve as a reminder to all those who question India’s treatment of its minorities. It must be mentioned that India has had innumerable players from the minority communities, unlike Pakistan. Of course, to even compare India with Pakistan is a shameful proposition, but let me indulge for the larger good. Right from Syed Kirmani to Mohammad Shami, from Azharuddin (who also became captain) to Yusuf and Irfan Pathan, from Zaheer Khan to Mohd Kaif, India has never discriminated against players on the basis of their religion. Harbhajan Singh, Navjot Singh Sidhu, Yuvraj Singh, Bishan Singh Bedi, etc, have been the Sikh cricketers of the Indian team. Never has anyone treated these players as untouchables, unlike in Pakistan, where the pompous players refuse to even break bread with a ‘kaafir’.

And plz dont compare Pakistan with India in treatment with Minorities. We dont have history like Gujrat 1970 & 2002 Riots, Muzaffarnagar Riots, Adilabad Riots etc. We dont have RSS chief like in Pakistan who says All indians shud be Hindus. We dont have Policemen telling Hindus to Move to India. Moreover, we dont give Citizen based on Religion! We dont degrade our Minorities like u do by calling Muslims 'Puncture Walas'

What is the connection of CAA with Kaneria's ill-treatment ??

I must remind that incidents like these happen in India too. I quote one such from 2015 :

On October 1, a 10-year-old Dalit student of a government school in Osian tehsil in Jodhpur district was allegedly thrashed by his teacher for touching utensil when the mid-day meal was being served inside the school premises.

Dinesh Meghwa is a Class four student at the government secondary school in Osian tehsil, 50 km from Jodhpur. He sustained minor injuries due to the incident and was taken to the Ummed hospital in Jodhpur on October 2.

It was also revealed that separate plates were kept for Dalit students and those belonging to a higher caste, Jats. Malaram, father of the Dalit student, was also allegedly beaten up when he came to pick up his son from school.

This is very normal in India and doesn't makes any news if a Dalit or Shudra is asked to drink and eat in separate utensils(if they escapes the lynching), and this made news in Pakistan shows this is an abnormal thing in Pakistan.

BTW caste discrimination is practiced openly in India as a routine and officially caste is written and pronounced and proclaimed just about everywhere, in jobs in education institutes, in Aadhar card....and this discrimination has the roots in India or India is the mothership of all achoot/maleech/chura class mentality....an Hindu Indian talkng about caste/religion discrimination is stranger than fiction.

Caste divide is part of Hinduism...no Dalit and Brahmins and in between there is no Hindu religion. So India talking about discrimination doesn't makes any sense, it is part and parcel of their lives.

What is the connection of CAA with Kaneria's ill-treatment ??

Indian media is clutching to the straws and picking Danish Kaneria news to justify the implementation of CAA in India...as if CAA(CAB) is a separate entity and NRC/NPR is not related to it. Asad Uddin Ovaisi has talked about it in detail and Indian BJP govt. is in constant denial and with the falsehood and deceit propagated by Amit Shah and Modi.

Nobody knows more about these anti Muslims laws than Ovaisi being a lawyer and a barrister...
