USA/NATO do NOT need nor want any bases in Pakistan. They have all they need in Afghanistan already. they've also arranged alternative rout to supply those bases.

These items are not advanced technology. C17, C130 are all transport planes and India can modify even airliners into transport planes if needed. These purchases are mainly to reduce trade surplus with USA and at the same time temporarily increase Indian fleet.

LEMOA is a non-wartime logistical agreement and it is useful to reduce refueling cost. India can refuse supply in wartime in LEMOA. It isn't same as giving bases to USA
