@Windjammer correct me if I am wrong but I think you got it all wrong that is not JF-17 B but JF17 block 3which is being transported the cockpit is is smaller than jf-17B in the above pic.
here the cockpit area is bigger for JF-17 b in the image below

If some one can cut and over lap bot images in Photoshop we will know which version is that.

Good call. I'm more intrigued by the number of engines with the C-17 in the above picture.

Am fortunate to have walked through it at an airshow in the UK a couple of years ago. I meant I keep seeing 3 engines on the C-17....normally I find 4. Could be the angle of the shot.

The Dorsal spine caught my eye, the rear cockpit seems to be covered by a material which blends in with the body.

This confirms it is JF-17 B thank you for your hard work. That white cover was causing all the doubts.

Yes that white cover is making all the doubts. any ways it is good news both ways.

Far left engine is indeed missing, possibly waiting replacement.

The far left engine is there the inner left engine is hidden behind the tail.

click the image and you can see a small curve of the engine just below the tail.

its there just a very small portion (almost negligible) is visible
Oh come on man they are not going to repair a US made engine in China.
