JF-17 Thunder Multirole Fighter [Thread 7]

RD93 is useless,I want to meet those genius guys.RD 93 is mature engine and as of now only reliable, tested and used it newest version RD33mk solves many issues, like fuel consumption and smoke.Current Mk engine produces 7%more thrust then earlier model's.It is equipped with FADEC.

How do you know this? Acceleromters onboard RD93 monitor shaft balance either HP or LP. Imbalances trigger red inflight alerts. Usage monitoring system which can vary from flight to flight by as much as a factor of 70-100, accurately records and responds post-combustion lightings, engins starts etc. High cycle fatigue models have been very accurately determined for RD93. Dual redundant PMMs - performance monitoring modes pickup sequence anomalies in ignition, overheating, throttling failure, stall, delayed start, long and short rotations, turbine heat-vent failure, ECU overheating, compressor stalls, HP and LP overspeeding. Control-loop malfunctions are observed and minized by dual redundancy.

He does not, and has no idea beyond making it up.

This radar has adopted advanced solid active phased array technology, with air to air,air to surface, air to sea and auxiliary navigation functions,it can achieve track & attack on multiple aerial targets and air-to-surface precision strike.KLJ-7A is the upgrade product for the KLJ-7 currently used by JF17,and the radar is comparable to the F35s'.

Sir, it is a known fact. For those of us who have been involved with aviation, would know the Russian fighters using this engine (Mig-29 specifically), have 40% availability after just a few hours of flight. The Chinese, when bought the RD-93, had already asked for certain optimizations on this engine before it was put into the JF-17.

RD-93 MA is supposed to have better combustion processing, spooling and thrust obviously, with digital controls so it will have twice or more the MTBF, with reduced Carbon dispensing (Black smoke).

Apparently being compared to F35! I.e. APG-81

Sir, this comparison is being done due to the stolen tech of the JSF. However, it takes a mature industry to even build stolen items 100% right. Knowing the Chinese manufacturing capabilities in their early stages to produce this sophisticated tech, there isn't really a comparison between the APG series and anything else the Chinese produce. The APG series has matured overtime for close to a century know. So product reliability doesn't have a comparison.

On capability, if this is truly a copy of the JSF radar, you can use your common sense and as this may be the first generation of radars the Chinese are producing at this level (when with the tech they stole), I'd make it 60-70% comparable. But then if they mass produce it, obviously, the quantity has its own quality I guess.

hahahaha
we were expecting italian aesa radar

2nd jf-17b will be truly a LIFT of paf
