It doesn't follow PAF or prototype serial numbering formats.

The fact that the jet is in China means it could be for another customer.

Myanmar JF-17s had a different 4 digit numbering.

I suspect 520 could be destined for Nigeria as I searched up and it's similar to their AF running series.

You maybe right about it being for some other customer. It is definately not a PAF designation.

a single hard point for pod is certain, addtioanl hard points benefits will be more in endurance by carrying more fuel, this can be replaced by either CFT, better engine, lighter aircraft and or more internal fuel(difficult dueto limited internal space)
