Right one is SD-10 A for sure, is it SD-10 B on left station?

Up to 25. We must note though that the delivery schedule is decided by PAF not by PAC. PAF wants to bleed off max hours out of its old fleet therefore it places orders on 'when needed basis'. The production and delivery of new jets is linked to the phase out schedule of PAF, therefore the unit production fluctuates. I am expecting the Tailchoppers to be equipped with JF-17s next month.

I think tailchoppers it is...

@Donatello I do not think that PAF uses fixed numbers or even fix planes. They rotate and get back to the squadrons that needs them. In case of J6 one had big number of reserves. J7 is a bit better plane then most people would think. JF17 on the other hand is serious improved. Everything is digital and continuously checked and even changed (plug and play idea) on the flight line. To my personal knowledge I think it is even that good that some western planes could learn from the design. It is simple but very very effective. So we do not need huge numbers.

What does ACMI stand for?.

well well, look whats hidden beneath the tarps, A naughty little Real Time DataLink ;)

AERO Advance Real Time Data Link System (RTDL-A)
The VR-500 is a Multiple Participant AirborneS-Band TDMA data link with up to 400 timeslots per second. Transmission rate is up to714Kb/sec. A typical application includes 20airborne participants sharing 200 time slots persecond. Each participant may broadcast 300bytes of data messages 10 times per second(10Hz). While one participant transmits, the restof the participants listen. With an airborne omni directional antenna, theDataLink has a useful range of 60-70NM.A Ground Station with high gain antennasprovides ranges exceeding 120NM.VR-500
VR-500 Datalink includes 3 airworthy LRUs:

  • AMC-1000 Processor Unit
  • S-Band Transceiver
    DataLink Power Supply Unit (PSU)
Airborne FM Transceiver Description

  • Power 50Watt (47dbm).
  • Antenna impedance: 50 ohm nominal
  • Modulation: FM Transceiver
    Number of frequencies: 8 programmable.
IF bandwidth: -3 dB 0.7 MHz min., -60 dB 3.0 MHz max.
Image and spurious rejection: 60 dB min. Dynamic range: 50 dB min.
    Audio output impedance 75 ohm.
PCM output level 2V p-p ±10% for 175 kHz peak deviation
PCM output response: 10 Hz to 350 kHz ±1.5 dB at 175 kHz peak deviation
    Sensitivity: -94 dBm for (S + N)/N = 14db at peak deviation of 175KHz.
Signal strength indication: 1.4V into ±10KW load (Linear monotonic voltage for RF signal range of -90.4 to -40dBm

air combat maneuvering instrumentation
Unless it's a programmed Robot, is this not the Pilot who manages the maneuverings?.what a inappropriate
Acronym ....thanks anyway.

it records inflight manoeuvring for debrief purposes.
