Bandits also wear orange suits, its not bound to Sqn.8. All those PAF Sqn.s that operate over Arabian sea wear orange suits. and non of PAF pilots are under PN command and there are no PN pilots operating M-VPA3s. It is just because of their antiship role, they are a little different from other PAF Sqns.
They support PN like PAF support PA for different land attack missions.

But for 8sq it is the standard suit since their day is all about Anti-ship.

All upgrades(except IFR) would be backward compatible.

Depends on whether there is space for the plumbing or not.
It could be done, but I am led to believe it would be awkward and more like a patch job.

Smoke is from Gun being fired..
There are no rocket lauchers visible
