Joysticks can easily be found in karachi and on online stores...no chance of throttle stick atleast not of cheap ones.Yup.
It's a realistic flight simulator for PC aval at steam, called Digital Combat Simulator, previously Lock On Modern Air Combat. Please tell what does DCS stands for
And Is this simulator is for public use like for gaming/flying jf17 or it is used for professional training in paf with its proper hardware and no one other will be provided the access to it ???
only a joystick can do the job...throttle is SONAY PE SUHAGA..It's a realistic flight simulator for PC aval at steam, called Digital Combat Simulator, previously Lock On Modern Air Combat.
No fun to play if you don't have a joyatick and a good throttle, but if you blessed with them then it's a beast!
If u are interested in flight sims take a start with strike fighters 2 and then go to advanced ones like dcs or bmsPlease tell what does DCS stands for

I once used Thrustmaster Warthog hotas at a PAF base...since then been trying to get one but damn its costly.

Generic would be the normal 700 Rs wala and it would be enough, but 500 dollars can give you the Thrustmaster A10 HOTAS, it's a beast! What's a good generic HOTAS that can be used with multiple games but is still top notch?

Don't think would make that much of a difference, keys and flip switches can easily be remapped to others. Or if you really like the DCS Flanker or Su 25 and have the skills, you can go and make the Joystick for the a/m machines DIY style. But wouldn't that be tailored for A10 Thunderbolt?
None competes Thrustmaster Warthog..even the airforce uses it and there are lots of profiles for keylayout on internet for every simulator so no worries about its config..it costs around Rs 40k and its only drawback is u will have to buy paddles cuz its joystick doesnt has Z axis..but if u are willing to spend less then go for TWCS by the same brand its around Rs 16k(both joystick and hotas). What's a good generic HOTAS that can be used with multiple games but is still top notch?

Best package would be logitech extreme3d pro and twcs (throttle only) with total cost of about Rs 13k
Other options are saitek rhino X-** series but they are more suitable for space sims...
I never said it doesnt...I said that u cant use its joystick to steer plane's rudder and u'll hv to buy separate pedals for that purpose but other sticks i mentioned hv steering feature..This warthog seems to have both joystick and hotas
