The HAS is a new feature at Skardu, they surely have been built to purpose.Thunders in Skardu & announcement for a new Kashmir Corps are some big developments. I think Pak Army is going to transform Astor & Skardu Brigades into full sized infantry divisions.
Anticipated!who announced kashmir corps ?

From what i understand, Skardu had hangars and shelters, HAS is a recent addition. ???They've been over there for a good 15 years IIRC...last time I visited they were there, in around 2007...hardly what you call new.

Yara windy. It was an unfair trial.
The plane very much takes off, after a longer than usual run but blends into the back ground. This is a yearly deployment which involves rotating different squadrons since in any future conflict, Skardu base will reportedly play an important part.Yara windy.
Its time you stopped feeding trolls and acted a bit more seriously. Thanks for the link. Two things come to mind. Firstly never saw the first plane take to the air which is a bit funny. Secondly and more importantly what are they doing there. They are clearly not on missions as going up without any weapons is a clear giveaway. So the question I have is whether there are any trials of high altitude handling of JFT going on or ghis was just a show put on for some kids which is extremely unlikely. Help appreciated.

If I am not mistaken, this is an F-7PG.The plane very much takes off, after a longer than usual run but blends into the back ground. This is a yearly deployment which involves rotating different squadrons since in any future conflict, Skardu base will reportedly play an important part.
