JF-17 Block-3 -- Updates, News & Discussion

Does the cockpit glass has indium tin oxide coating like the j10c's?
.
(Not saying it's absolutely necessary but would be cool if it does!)

You'd be able to see it when sunlight strikes it at certain angles. However, I haven't seen any photos of this.

.
Why is the PAF so keen on keeping the JF-17 Block 3 cockpit a secret?

WAS IT NECESSARY to post the same picture six times for each serial no.?

Couldn't you just write '3P-06 till 3P-11' or even list all the serial no.s individually but with one picture?

JF-17 Block III in full swing look great in yellow but once the finished item flies in the March 23rd parade that would be a sight no doubt

First Thunder Block III Squadron hopefully inducted

While talk has been recently about the J10 but , we got The Thunder Maturing into Beast mode , 4 BVR missiles and all the new tech on board just fantastic

You dont know how wrong you are!!! JFT is an indegenous project and nothing will harm it. J10s were acquired for different reasons.

Exactly. The small quantity of J-10C (25 units only) has limited tactical usage, hundreds of JF-17 (all blocks combined) will continue to be the mainstay weapon of PAF, let alone being a home-grown aeronautical industry and big ticket export item.

The small numbers are likely to change as PAF evaluates and incorporates the J10 into its mileau. Along with further upgrades, possibly upto 90 to 110 J10s could be bought. There will be evaluations and possible changes fed back to our brothers in China. Due to lack of any limitations PAF will have a much wider access /utility for the J10 than it had for the 16s.

In case that materialized, not all will be just J-10C.
