Still doesn't explain lack of progress by PAF. While enemy is inducting new Rafales in every few weeks we are yet to see a single JFT block 3 in its final flying form

There is nothing wrong with delivering one plane and then celeberating it

We are already in the 8th month of 2021 and we have no confirmed information about the status of block 3 while we expected that first block 3 would be at least rolled out in March 2021

That is poor by all standards and we are already behind schedule clearly

considering major components of the aircraft still were not finalised until recently, it’s a bit stupid to expect it to be flying months ago "in its final form" when even now, it’s final form isn’t a given. While we have seen it testing PL-10’s, denel wants to integrate ADarters on the fleet according to their ceo. Anyway, fortunately for you, the PAF has other means of bulking up it’s fleet immediately to tackle the threat of the rafale while jf17 b3s roll off the line for the next 5 years.

You yourself has admitted that PAF is yet to have final form of Block 3 even today. Despite pandemic that is not a very bright performance and progress

I don’t think you understand how induction works…as always you’re being emotional instead of using logic.

Do you think they will induct one jet at a time coming out of Kamra? Have you seen that happen before?
It’s been less than 12 months since the serial production of JF-17 block 3 started. Of course they’re not in service yet. They will only induct them when one entire batch is completed, a batch has always taken a year to complete because it’s always 16~ aircraft per batch. And that’s without the pandemic (and without it being the first ever production of a block). PAC can make 25 but then exports come in to play. It’s literally just been a regular production year but instead PAF is being more secretive, which is a good thing.

I dont know why you guys are so depressed. Its been PAF practice to do an end of year ceremony on the Jf-17 for the last few years. Just wait for that, and you will have 12 Blk-3s lined up, two-thirds in yellow primer.

perhaps you are right. but one thing is for sure, our Thunders in yellow primer will be flying instead of getting towed by a tractor trailer carrying a yellow primered samosa with a leaky canopy!

What exactly is going on with PAF?

That was old news and was revised due to delays in deciding the radar. Nothing due until the end of this year.

What exactly is PAF thinking?

They know the process and phases of induction. As said, no news in public domain doesn't mean there's nothing happening. It's just our way of progress and development. At the time, when PAF was sitting duck on paper against IAF with all the proclaimed might and Asian Raptor; things turned out to be different. Let's just say, PAF isn't merely interested to cheer us but on other hand, things are done in timely manner and professionally.

I don't think they have such time to explain evert day or hours as what they are doing right now. We aren't looking at some car production Factory. A new system needs a lot of input, time, energy, study, checks and testings but that doesn't mean as if Block-III is some sort of delayed given the snags or issues. In short, keep calm and let the personnel complete their job. Our curiosity is Infact hitting us with anxiety but we aren't vulnerable if IAF is inducting this or that. They will do what they had while we will continue with our mission.

Chill it, Thunder Block 3's would become operational a lot sooner than Rafales. No news does not mean no progress. Things are moving at the right speed and in the right direction, no need to panic. Boys are raining to fight with long sticks and soon a full squadron induction will be anounced.
