Jesus Christ has no mention in history : PM IMRAN Khan

So this guy Ahsan Iqbal who as someone was jumping around about him being an "IVY league" is just a common village idiot.

.
It is true that their is no mention of Prophet Jesus pbuh in the european history books. But also remember that history is written by the victors and on case of europe which is the cradle of the christian civilization, the victors were atheists who will naturally remove any mention of a person who preached submission to God. In the middle east, it's a different story; Muslims are the victors and hence, our history books very much have Prophet Jesus pbuh in existence.

Lesson learned... DON'T TREAT HISTORY AS A SCIENCE...HISTORY IS SUBJECTIVE UNLIKE SCIENCE WHICH IS OBJECTIVE AND LOGICAL.

.
Sounds more like you dont accept or consider the wrong context in this situation.
I'm not bright enough to understand what you just said to me. What I am, as a Catholic, saying to these PDFers, twitteratis and googly/wiki scholars is that MY belief in Christ is not based on history but faith. I am saying that they should stop finding offense where there is none!

cheers!

.
Maybe he does not consider religious books as authentic historical source of information.

.
He's not wrong. Outside of religious sources, there is no evidence of Jesus (peace be upon him) existing. The same can somewhat be said for Moses (peace be upon him), but I would say (as Imran Khan rightly said) that he has a little more evidence from historical sources.

If anyone actually has something historical evidence (outside of scripture) definitively proving their existence, I'd be delighted to hear it.

Channel 4 Islam - The Untold Story

In this ground-breaking film, historian Tom Holland explores how a new religion - Islam - emerged from the seedbed of the ancient world, and asks what we really know for certain about its rise. The result is an extraordinary detective story. Traditionally, Muslims and non-Muslims alike have believed that Islam was born in the full light of history. But a large number of historians now doubt that presumption, and question much of what Muslim tradition has to tell us about the birth of Islam.

Lol please don't embarrass yourself by bringing up those revisionists. Their claims are easily refuted by the current evidence at hand, and they haven't even got any evidence for them in the first place.

Blue eye , blond hair Jesus has no mention in History its true ..
we do know a Middle eastern Jew , fair Skin , dark hair called Esa Pbuh .

.
there is no doubt there existed a person called Mohammed but very little is known of his life

A pretty significant amount of his life is known, even outside of the hadees. The siyar (which most historians prefer to use) contains plenty of facts about him.

P.S: historians deny the authenticity of hadees

Not all of them, and those that do know next to nothing about them.

BTW the four main Christian Gospels of the New Testament - Matthew, Mark, Luke and John depicting life of Hazrat Eisa were written somewhere in 70 - 100 AD which shows there is a history.

Salamu Alaikum

For various reasons, those accounts cannot be trusted.

saying that all of Christianity is a lie (Jesus isnt mentioned in history)!

He never said all of Christianity is a lie, he only said what many historians regard as fact. Jesus (peace be upon him) really doesn't have any reliable historical evidence of his existence.

But the problem with defending imran khan is ,if Muslims deny the existence of Jesus, then the foundation of Islam will collapse like a pack of cards too.

No it doesn't. We only believe in Jesus (peace be upon him) because the Quran says he was real. The real question becomes you should be asking is why do Muslims believe in the Quran? And the answer varies from person to person, but I find these sources to give some good arguments:

Probably another faker, Christian missionaries do this a lot:

If some one says the same for Prophet Muhammad he will be

He will be an idiot, because the historical evidence for him is overwhelming.

.
He is right. There is no mention or record of Jesus in any Roman or Jewish records. The only account that has alluded to someone like Jesus came from Titus Flavius Josephus who was a Jewish defector to the Roman empire, but he never met Jesus. I believe there is another one, but I am not familiar with it.

The Romans were literate with a traditions of recording a large number of things including executions.

The history of Jesus, or a Jewish person named Yeshua, was greatly exaggerated by early Christian leaders primarily Paul the Apostle. However, such a Jewish leader existed, but his prominence and overall impact might be lesser than what we hear today.

On the flip side, there are two known historic records of Prophet Mohammed. One, a letter sent by the Byzantines to their North African territories warning them about a Saracen leader rising in Arabia and second, a letter found within the Quran that discussed Prophet Mohammed.

Many people are confusing Historical Jesus with the Dogmatic Christ / Islamic Isa

IK has said that a very little is mentioned/known about the Historical Jesus .... No historian would dispute this claim

.
The New Testament is a jewish joke on the goyim..

Stick with the Quran.

.
I am trying not to convince myself that Imran Khan might be possible tool of illuminati group [Anti-christ]. Only the illuminati guy talks like that.

Roman empire recorded the presence of Jesus (PBUH) in their history [archive].
Bible records the presence of Jesus (PBUH) with extensive details.
Even Jewish historians acknowledge the history of Jesus (PBUH) albeit not acknowledgement of him (PBUH) as Prophet/Messiah is different matter.
Even neutral sources take many sources into the account has been able to trace the historical mention of Jesus (PBUH).
Finally, Holy Quran goes into extensive details about Jesus (PBUH), 25 times the name has been mentioned - more than Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and any Prophets (PBUTA) combined.

There you have a guy who has always been accused of illuminati in the past due to his in-law background is inadvertently confirming to the benefit of doubt in the eyes of Pakistani awaam.

I am Christian and yes it has been discussed before, but not intensely or angrily or anything or even frequently. Also, anyone can make any video. Videos dont change people's "realities"/truths with things like religion. We just saw another video here about Islam and its origin. you think thats going to change anything about how Muslims live or see their religion now??? Offcourse not.
Mate, remember that Jesus which we call Esa is a Prophet (peace be upon him) and all prophets are revered in Islam and we believe in their prophethood and also they all preached the same core teachings that there is only ONE God without any partners. However what IK referred to I think is to the historical Jesus.

That guy left out lots of things and on the top of it, assumed lots of things isn't there either nor the actual quote that can confirm the quote of A CREATOR.

As far as Aramaic is concerned, Jesus (PBUH) invoked the name of GOD in Aramaic 'ELLAH' which is similar to Arabic term of GOD is 'ALLAH'. In Holy Quran, it means ONE GOD - no parents nor children - NONE LIKE UNTO GOD. Basically, it is A CREATOR THAT IS NONE LIKE IT EVER.

Even in Barnabas Bible, Jesus (PBUH) prophesied about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) 'Ahmad' about the final Messenger for the entire mankind. And Jesus (PBUH) prayed to ALLAH to be part of the Ummah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Guess what? He (PBUH) was raised alive before Jewish community and Roman army could get to him (PBUH) and he (PBUH) will be back as part of Ummah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) because Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the seal of Prophet-hood - the last of all. So Jesus (PBUH) will be follower at best much like Awlia Allah - Friend of ALLAH; Imam Mahdi means Rightly Guided.

GOD never claimed to have son of GOD in Bible and Holy Quran as far as i am concerned about revelations in Aramaic and Arabic. And nor Jesus (PBUH) claimed to be son of GOD or GOD for that matter in according to Bible [Aramaic] and Holy Quran which the whole chapter of Maryam (R.A) is the response to the misguided Christians. If that guy read it, then he would have known by now that Holy Quran is the prophesied one as mentioned in Barnabas Bible. And Jesus (PBUH) never claimed to be son of GOD. So how can he use Holy Quran as source to convert to Christianity when Holy Quran is clear as sky in regards to the position of ALLAH and Jesus (PBUH)? He contradicted himself big time. Delusional at best i am afraid.

I agree with Imran here..

If someone has time to watch the full video, the context of his talk was about the documentation of the system. Evert aspect of the life of Muhammad (PBUH) has been documented, by the first hand accounts. There is a system of chain of narrations. We have ashtiname preserved with Muhammad (PBUH) hand print.. It has been authenticated by Muslims and non-Muslims alike. We have some first hand accounts of non-Muslims who documented some of the wars...

While he said that there is no mention of Hazrat Isa in History books, it doesn't mean that he was saying the Hazrat Isa (PBUH) didn't exist.. He meant to say (and he cleared this in his talk as well) that the nizaam is not documented. No one even knows how he prayed.

He was wrong about Musa (PBUH) as well by the way when he said that Hazrat Musa (PBUH) system is somehow documented.. no it's not.. No history book tells us that when he was born.. what system of law he implemented, how he used to pray etc etc.. People are still trying to identify him as Thuthmoses I, or Thutmoses II (which I believe both were not Musa (PBUH)..

Again, it doesn't mean that Musa (PBUH) didn't exist, because denying this will take us out of Islam.. We believe that he existed because Quran talks about him.. and Jesus Christ as well.. but can we say that we can implement Musa (PBUH) system? No.. we can't say that..

In Islam, we exactly know when Zakat (which is an advanced system of taxation in a way if properly implemented) becomes obligatory.. what are the specific timings of Prayers.. when to start and end fasting.. we have very slight variations and that's it.. we even have been told how to drink water, how to trim our nails, how to take bath for maximum purity, how to behave with parents, wives, children, neighbors, other Muslims, minorities.. it's all documented.. not in Quran, but first hand accounts called Hadeeth.. And we even have a system to classify hadith..

I don't know why people are criticizing Imran Khan.. There were 100s of ulema sitting in that conference and no one questioned his statement, because they understood that clearly.. yet people like Talat Hussain, Umar Cheema and the likes.. who don't have knowledge of deen and history, are trying to make a mountain out of a molehill.

@war&peace

@Hakikat ve Hikmet

Prophet Moses (PBUH) did bring the system. It is called Mosaic Law. That has been practiced throughout centurions. Even practiced till the arrival of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) at Makkah.

Many Prophets that came after Moses (PBUH) did revive Mosaic Law to the best possible. That being said, the history is lost somewhere. What people mistake for Sharia Law is originally Mosaic Law has been colored into Muslim political ideology that is now clashing Holy Quran in many ways. Mosaic Law may have been changed a lot so to speak. Hence the lies of contradiction as we observe.
