Jarba urges Syrian opposition friends for arms

In eastern Ukraine, ethnic Russians are under 40% of the population, but native Russian speakers in eastern Ukraine are over 70% of the population. Likewise, only a small % of Sunni Arabs in Syria don't have family members that are Shia and therefore are staunchly pro revolution. :victory:

Shall I talk about my chemical engineering assignment and examination preparation? You want some percentages thrown around as well?

That's nonsense. The vast majority have no ties to the 10-15% Nusayris and Shias. The Shias in Syria = Nusayris. The Nusayris only lived in one area of Syria traditionally. Only in the last 40 years or so they have moved toward the bigger cities but mostly intermarried with each other.

Likewise the Arab Christians and other Christian minorities usually intermarry with each other not to lose their culture. That's what minorities usually do. So that's complete bullshit.

Anyway what has this to do with anything that was discussed?

yet the Syrian government never claimed they are revolting:partay:...
I like how you ignore that there HUNDRED OF THOUSANDS OF TERRORISTS FROM THE WORLD FIGHTING FOR F$A ALQADA IN SYRIA WITH THE SUPPORT OF THREE MAJOR POWERS USA FRANCE AND UK, AND ARE LOSING!! :what:
Here solid proofs that rebels get all the support from USA, France and UK:

Please don't discuss with this giant clown. Him badmouthing the West while living in USA and acting like a keyboard hero in the same USA while his country burns should be proof enough of his state.

Probably a kid.

If king abdullat will send MANPADS they will only be effective against helicopters, helicopters which are not needed.
Helicopters play 2 important roles:

1) They carry supplies for besieged loyalist bases.
2) They drop barrels.

I don't understand the strategy of the SAA, they don't need to use all those ineffective tanks. All they need are infantry assault troops.
They already have MANPADS, they are even more useless then the ATGW.
Tanks are VERY effective in places like Syria which is mostly desert and plains:

- Tank gun can hit targets up to 5 km with high accuracy.
- Tank machine gun is like a good sniper rifle can hit targets up to 1200 m.
- And all that with huge amount of ammo, armored and with excellent sights and night vision.

here comes the Israeli to F$A terrorists rescue, we all know the love affair between Israel and their terrorists F$A and you are a proof of that... you yourself along with your beloved blackeagle post daily videos of F$A terrorists with heavy weapons destroying tanks and etc, and now you are claiming those F$A terrorists don't have a gun?? you are joke...

@500

What's your opinion on the military outcome of the Syrian civil war should a third party/parties manage to create a no fly zone like in Libya? Would that not severely shorten the conflict and thus safe the lives of people?

Anyway I know that Syria is a conflict with many influences and that Russia is especially active. They are basically the only country preventing NATO from reaction IMHO.

What do you say?

I have no doubt that the Syrian Opposition would quickly win the battle had we seen a repeat of Libya. Right now, those people that are either not participating in the conflict directly or confused on which side to follow, would quickly turn like in Libya where Gaddafi loyalists disappeared completely when the no-fly zone was established. Same thing will happen in Syria. Many people just want to survive and do not care about politics. People loyal to Al-Asshead are living better, especially in Damascus etc. than let's say areas controlled by ISIS.

So it's of course not black and white.
The rebels need many months to learn how to use new weaponry effectively as well.
