Japanese could export their weapons to Vietnam, ... like Epsilon rocket, Soryu class AIP submarines ..

We are familiar to Russian made, so maybe next should be Su35, PAK FA ...
As you see, Vietnam always buy mature aircrafts in small quantity, then more ... we never buy an unknown well type ...

From 2020-2030, $5 billion allocated to fighter jet is feasible. In 2009, we already spent $4billion for the submarine package including state of the art training facility and the bases for the subs.

Picture of Vietnamese space center delegation's visit to Japan. Vietnamese space center is funded by Japan. At the moment, Vietnamese engineers are receiving training in Japan to produce the first radar imaging satellite in Japan while the second satellite will be built in Vietnam by 2020. At the moment, training human resources in space technologies is the main objective of Vietnam Space Center. Patience is the key, one can not have a robust space industry without a skilled workforce. Satellite launch rocketry will be the second phase of cooperation between Vietnam and Japan so stay tune. Again, patience is the key.

This is only a concept demonstration machine, why takes it so seriously? The final 5th generation fighter of Japan will be F-3 and the production timeline will reach 2027.

One simple technique problem for it is its size - two engines with power for total of 10kg. What that means? Remember, 1. 5th generation fighter have internal weapons bay for at least 2 medium range + 2 short range air-to-air missile 2. 5th generation fighter should have better AESA radar for detecting stealthy counterpart 3. 5th generation fighter should have better engine with T/W ratio for at least 9:1. So how could this one put its missiles internally? how could it be installed with high quality AESA radar with such a small nose? How could it be called as 5th generation with a engine of T/W ratio 7.8:1? A suitable comparison is with L-15 installed with two 4.7kg Minshan engines.

Actually I'm more optimistic with KF-X
