ATD-X is clearly not viable. Everybody knows how much ahead of Japan US is and they spent $50 bil on R&D and China invested around $25 bil just on engine (source: J-20's Wikipedia page) meanwhile Japan has spent under $1 bil on ATD-X. How on earth do they think their fighter will be comparable with J-20?

I vote for ATD-X rather than J-20.
J-31 is better in my opinion.

I means J-31 is more realistic in usage, J-20 would be less effective as it should be. It's a hard decision to drop the J-20 project at this moment.
Because China rarely admit the failure.

I'm not against Japanese, but look at the picture of f22 and atd-x are identical. Just only that atd-x is small in size.
