you really need to laugh hard to some Chinese member here.
Japanese wanted Air Craft Carrier. So what, big deal, even if tomorrow Japan want to drop the pacifist stance, what can China do about it? Talk to Japan??
This is the main point, China can NEVER interfere with Japan's Internal Affair, even if Japan ask US for a Nimitz, it is none of Chinese business, the perceived "They have a carrier and now they will go rampage like WW2" have got to drop. Because, well, there are nothing China can do about it.
Secondly, you also need to laugh at Chinese and their Military technicality.
It is literally impossible for Chinese to operate more than 4 Carrier unless the current situation changed (Ie Having overseas naval bases or have extension of their territories) Only 2 Naval Yard are big enough to accommodate any repair work, dry dock work and berthing facilities. 2 Docks can service 2 carriers at a time and put 2 carriers out at sea. Supporting ship also taking up berthing place and dry docks, and please do remember, China only have 1 coast. They are not like US which have 2 and multiple bases overseas , or Japan, which literally surrounded by seas. Put aside the fact that Japan used to service Fleet carrier during WW2, their basic infrastructure will still be in place. Where China is a new comer to Carrier Warfare.
If there are anyone who should worry about the rise of Japanese NAVY again, it will be the USA, not China, we have bases there, you don't....
