Also Japan's "Atol argument" fails miserably, even by UN rules. ONLY Islands which are NOT submerged and of a certain size are deemed as "inhabitable islands" that can then be used to extend the claim to the surrounding ocean floor.

More importantly, HISTORICALLY it is China that populated, occupied and ruled of these ocean islands. In fact, Okinawa (japanese name for it) was in fact CHINESE, the people spoke a CHINESE DIALECT.
