J-31 possibly being tested & evaluated in Pakistan

Considering ws13 development and other powerful engine options the J31 looks to be reality in near future. If IAF getting Rafael and other stuff openly then we should have no issue to declare the possible timeline for induction of J31.

If we get J31 even then we may induct western gadgets later on from Turkey by JV. I am afarid that there are solid points to differ many senior members calling TFX more advanced.
1- Turkey is few years away from producing indigenous AESA/Engine.
2- Shall get most next gen gadgets mostly by JV from western vendors obviously having strings attached regarding exports.
3-Turkish still learning and developing next gen tech, Chinese have done so and have top ranking Unis/Institutes involved in research work.

The secrecy perhaps should be maintained regarding location of such gadgets if possible along with security measures.

As per our Religious teachings we should induce fear of us in hearts of our enemies.

Perfect answer...everyone underestimates J-31 and besides PAF needs cost friendly platform in which J-31 wins and TFXis still on paperworks right now..Plus Turkey has less experience in making Jets while China has hell of experience.Waiting for next months J-31v2.0's debut

We didn't even see J31 in Zuhai 2016 Air show. So, I don't see them coming to Pakistan anytime soon, not even in 2017.

I wouldn't have opened a thread based on a random video had a reputable source earlier not dropped a hint towards this,
In fact, I picked up that the J-31 was part of the contingent that arrived to participate in the Shaheen series of exercise earlier this year.

Whether it's in 2018 or 2025, Pakistan will get the J-20, J-31 or another 5th generation fighter. And China wants this especially now in light of the fact that the Chinese have many vital strategic assets in Gwadar and all over Pakistan. Wouldn't be surprised if China does a joint venture, and gives Pakistan the know how to produce an advanced 5th generation fighter jet. Much the same way as with the JF-17 project.
