J-10 starts to equip with the WS-10A engine

Russia completed mature engine within 15 years and US completed it 19 years. China is longer than 22 years and still working on....they are very slow man!

sigh

It's mostly because China wants to skip some steps and go straight into high performance jet engines. Russia and the US had to go through a process of research and development, taking steps on gradually building better and better engines. China simply want to play quick catch up, and frankly, they're doing a good job.

I seriously thought that they would take much longer than this to get to this level. No one expected China to make this amount of progess in such a short amount of time.
