So your marines saw them towing your tanker with their fishing boat and decided to shoot them. What brave marines they were they took on some monstrous Indian fishermen who were about to gobble your tanker.......

No, a fishing boat rushed with high speed towards the oil tanker and reacted to no warning, A similar tactic was used at the USS Cole incident. It looked like an attack and somali pirates use the same tactics as well, rush with small boats towards vessels, climb on them and take the crew hostage. The tanker was loaded with oil, if that small boat carries explosives that can lead to desaster. If you speed like a complete freak towards an oil tanker, react to no warning, then you die. Its that easy. We have laws in the world, india should teach them to their population.

I dont know how i would have reacted. It was night so i propably would have shot too, to secure the situation. At day i would use the water cannons to sink those boats and let the sharks deal with it.
